Peaceful Cozy Home In A Rural Garden Farm Setting ~ "Bobolink" House

The home is fully furnished and has laundry, high speed internet, TV, picnic tables, and a fire pit. All linens and towels are provided. Extensive beautiful gardens cover several acres with walking trails.

The house is situated on our working family farm in a peaceful serene setting with flower gardens everywhere. Guests have access to our vegetable garden in season. We cater to birders but welcome hunters and guests just wanting a peaceful country experience. Ideal for family reunions or small weddings. There is a granary full of "Funky Farm Junk" for sale.

NOTE: If your group or party is larger than our maximum occupancy, please let me know as we can accommodate larger groups for an extra fee.

Great location. Needs an update on bathroom. Also could use some reflectors to mark main entrance at night for late arrivals. Very comfortable furniture. My second stay at this place this year.

Peaceful garden setting

We had a terrific stay is this peaceful, quiet garden setting. Near enough to larger cities for us to explore on a day trip, but secluded and quiet. We had a relaxing few nights and enjoyed the warm hospitality.

Great home base for our birding trip

This was our second stay at Bobolink, and it hasn't changed a bit in the 9 years between. That's both good and not-so-good, as everything we liked is still there, but it's looking rather worn also. But while this is not a luxury accommodation, it is comfortable, clean and convenient to multiple wildlife refuges and birding drive loops, as well as close enough to "civilization" for supplies or dining. The grounds are lovely, even early in the season before the flowers are blooming. The owner lives on site and is fast to respond to communication, which facilitated quick resolution of an issue we had early in our stay. I would stay here again if doing another trip to this area!

Was thrilled with this property. We were up there for duck hunting and was a great place outside of town to stay so we had som privacy and very quiet. Place was clean and as advertised. Would stay here again! Hosts were amazing! Thanks so much.

Relaxing Getaway

This place is so peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed walking the grounds to see all the flowers and nature. We stayed in the Bobolink house and was comfortable and the place was very clean. We will be back again!!

Cozy, comfortable, and welcoming!

We had a delightful time at Pipestem Creek. We rented both houses for a family reunion. Both homes were comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed the rural location. And we especially enjoyed seeing a moose each day as he roamed the nearby fields! We highly recommend Ann’s properties. We realized after we arrived that we had been there before when she sold edible bird feeders and houses! Collette the caretaker was delightful and helpful. Thank you so much!

Big, beautiful wide open property!

The owner and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Super fast refund on the deposit was much appreciated. I really liked how the house was decorated, lots of old antiques gave it a very cozy warm atmosphere. There wasn't anything I didn't like and I would highly recommend this property.
