While exploring the interior of your stay, you'll quickly take notice of the gourmet kitchen, lined with marble finishes, and complete with a full suite of stainless steel appliances, and an expansive center island. The separate bar is the perfect spot to store your wine and craft up cocktails. Whereas the breakfast bar is spacious enough for everyone to enjoy meals around. Adjacent to the kitchen is the sun-filled living room, which features an oversized sofa, a large TV, and effortless balcony access.

With five equally impressive bedrooms to sprawl out in, rest assured that each of your loved ones will settle in quickly. Each room has been carefully curated with soft linens, tasteful decorations, and cool air - thanks to the home's central air-conditioning. Moments of self-care can be indulged in as you step into the marble walk-in showers or apply a face mask at the large vanities. A private washer/dryer, a filtration center, a Tesla charger, and an elevator round out the home's interior perks.

Outside, enjoy multiple levels of outdoor living. The enclosed backyard offers the perfect spot to host the ones you love the most with its seating, gas grill, and hot tub. An outdoor shower is also available here - ideal to rinse off in after soaking in the hot tub.

Before heading to the beach, grab the provided beach gear (chairs, toys, and a beach buggy). When you aren't hanging out on the Carolina Beach Boardwalk or directly on the warm sand, check out Freeman Park, Fort Fisher State Historic Site, and the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.

Very clean, loved our stay.

We had a wonderful time at The Salty Escape! The place was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was a short walk to the beach and a really great ice cream shop around the corner. Relaxing in the hot tub was a great way to unwind after our family battled waves at the beach during the day. We’d love to visit again someday.

Great stay with big group

Salty Escape was so well equipped for our big group. The hot tub, the huge bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms, the beach equipment, the awesome kitchen/lounge area on the top floor were all super comfortable and sweet. Also the 5 minute walk to the beach was a treat. A great home for groups and such good value. Thanks!

Overall, the experience was very good and we would recommend it to others. We provided some direct feedback to Vacasa to help improve the experience and received immediate response from Vacasa thanking us for the feedback. We did notice some inconsistancies in check-out direction, but followed the direction received via text the day before checkout. There was very good communication from Vacasa. A few postings referring to parking passes that we never saw. We're not sure whether previous guests misplaced them...or what? The water pressure in the unit was noticeably affected when a number of fixtures were in use at the same time, as well as the amount of hot water available. But overall, we were very pleased with the choice of Salty Escape.

Luxurious Retreat

The house is beautifully decorated, very clean, and everything has been thought of to make you feel comfortable while vacationing. The kitchen is well supplied if you choose to stay in and cook or there are plenty of nearby restaurants. The walk to the beach is easy and convenient. It’s a beautiful place to spend with your family and friends for a fun and relaxing vacation!

Beautiful Place

The house, property, & location was beautiful! Everything was super clean upon arrival and felt just like home. The only issues we had were with the keypad to enter & elevator code and doors to elevator not opening properly but I was made aware of the keypads are sensitive and the booking says for entire home not realizing this is a SPLIT home. Also do NOT recommend this home for any weekend bachelor/bachelorette get togethers. We were asked to leave a day before checkout without any sort of warning. The neighbors don’t seem to like any sort of noise even if it’s during the day as they are all residents but I would recommend for any family only vacations.

Salty escape with the Family

Love the location and privacy of this home with an easy 5 minute walk to the public beach access with ramp! Very nice neighborhood. Beautiful and lovely decorated home with lots and lots of living and eating space…great appliances and tv’s in every room! The hot tub was an awesome extra! The elevator makes life unloading and loading so much easier! We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Such a lovely place

Made so much memories. Very neat. Close to the beach and the neighborhood is so nice. Neighbors were so welcoming too. Loved the walk to the beach. Can’t wait to rebook it for another gathering. Elevator helped with loading unloading groceries. Everything you need to have fun is at the property beach chairs bikes helmets buggy to carry stuff to beach. EV charger. Just pack your bags and be ready to have lots of fun.

What a beauty!

We stayed at salty escape for 4 nights the past weekend and it was the best. The house is clean from top to bottom, and you have access to everything you need to be comfortable.The beds are comfortable, decoration is chic, kitchen had everything we needed plus some. Oh did I mention 3 minute walk to the beach! This is THEE place to stay In Carolina Beach and we already planning to go back.

Retreat perfection

We enjoyed a three night stay at this property for a retreat as a management team. We brought our children and the amenities of the home could not have been more perfect. We represent a catering company and the quality of the kitchen from appliances to spices to filtered water more than exceeded our expectations. The layout gave everyone enough space for personal time and the toy cabinets for the beach delighted the children. I hope we get to repeat visits in the future. Being across the street from the Tiki bar was magical too. My only feedback is that I love hooks in a bathroom to hang towels for reuse, bathing suits, robes etc. That pales in comparison to all the other details of perfection!

Best Stay EVER at Salty Escape!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Salty Escape. When we first walked in, we were like "Wow!" Everything was clean and super nice. We were worried about the stairs for our 80-year-old family member, but guess what? There's an elevator! Didn't even realize that when we booked. That was a game changer for him, and for bringing up groceries and luggage. The kitchen was spot on with the rest of the place. We loved the decor. There were plenty of high end appliances. We cooked a lot while we were there. And let's not forget the fully stocked Keurig. Coffee lovers in the house, rejoice! The weather was chill during our stay, perfect for hopping into the hot tub every day. Best bit? We watched the 2024 solar eclipse right from the beach, just a short walk from the house. There's a lake nearby where you can walk, run, and check out turtles and fish. And they'd just opened up a brand new playground, so be sure to take your kids there. Not to mention the boardwalk with arcades, stores, and tiki bars are just a short 5 min ride. Overall? Our trip to Salty Escape was amazing. We had the best time and we'll definitely be back. If you're thinking about it, just book it. You won't be sorry!

Perfect spacious duplex!

One of the best places we have rented. It felt brand new. The appliances and microwave are top notch. The kitchen is well stocked for larger gatherings with lots of plates, bowls, and glasses. There is almost everything you can think of there. Very high quality. The furniture does not look used. The beds are super comfortable and quiet. Rooms are spacious and not junkie. The bunk room is the smallest but definitely a great room for children. The park-n-play is in great condition! They have a nice high chair as well. The TVs offers a lot of channels too. The parking is narrow but held 3 cars comfortably as promised. Nice outdoor hot tub and they have it serviced regularly as we saw him coming to clean it. The upstairs living area is very spacious for 14 people. We were so pleasantly surprised because at first thought it was the entire building but realized it is a duplex so on half. 14 people fit comfortably. There are lots of bikes and beach chairs and a wagon to take everything to the beach. All are new and in good shape. No beach towels though.

Beautiful, brand new and great location

We loved everything about this home. Spacious, beautifully decorated and with everything we needed for our stay. Great communication from hosts and clear instructions to check in and out. We would definitely come back. Keep in mind that it is a 3 story house. Great for privacy if you share with another family or a group of friends.
