An ocean breeze puts your mind at ease. Come relax in this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom oceanfront condo located at “A Place at the Beach” condominiums in northern Carolina Beach (918 Carolina Beach Ave N). Unit 1C

This renovated oceanfront condo is literally just steps away from the beach-access or from the complex's private saltwater pool. After having a fun day out in the sun, you can sit and relax on the deck with views of the dunes as you listen to the waves.

This end-unit is located on the first floor right by your parking spot. This is perfect for those with mobility issues or those who prefer not to carry luggage, groceries or beach equipment up several flights of stairs at the end of a long day.

This unit is situated in an excellent location in Carolina Beach as it is just across the street from a coffee shop/ cafe and market (North End Cafe to-go) and just a short walk (<1 mile ) to several other destinations like Nollie's Tacos, SeaWitch Tiki Bar, the Carolina Beach Fishing Pier and the Boardwalk!!

No smoking is permitted in this unit

Sheets and bath towels are included (we do not provide wash cloths).
Bring your own towels for both the beach and pool.

Complex also includes coin-operated laundry on-site (across from unit on the first floor), charcoal grills and picnic-tables as well as bicycle parking at the beach access.

There is limiting parking in the town of Carolina Beach, therefore this unit can only accommodate 2 vehicles (each will need to display a parking tag, which is provided for the stay). Unfortunately electric golf carts cannot be accommodated as there is no exterior charging accessible. Gas powered golf carts can be rented or brought but will need to utilize one of the 2 alotted parking spaces.

Code to door didn’t work when we got there . Spent about an hour looking for and finding right rental, then waiting for owner to let us in.Great beach access and location. Bed was comfy.Sofa and loveseat very uncomfortable. Ice maker did not work.Great cookware and utensils.Need curtains or blinds for sliding doors.Overall,good stay.

Great place on the ocean

Friendly communication regarding the booking. Great unit with everything we needed. Very happy there were beach chairs!! Short walk to beach which was wonderful. The pool was clean and nice lounge chairs around it too. Would recommend to others.

Luna by the Sea

We had a great time at this location. The only complaint is the noise from the people above us but that is outside of the property manager’s jurisdiction! Comfy beds, cozy environment and right on the beach for easy access to the ocean. My boys and I loved the pool too.

Nice location

We really loved the location as the beach wasn’t as busy where this condo is located. We also loved having 2 separate bedrooms and 2 separate bathrooms. Only minor complaint is not having more than 2 beach chairs there and not having a shelf for more storage in the master bathroom. Otherwise, we had a great time. We could walk to many different restaurants and the boardwalk wasn’t too far to walk to either. The lock on the door was nice not having to carry around a key card or key to get in. We would stay there again!

Wonderful

Location to the beach; right around the corner. Didn't need a wagon or cooler. Location to the pool and laundry: right around the corner. Location to community: right up the street. The place was clean and neat. The instructions were clear and concise. Not too many instructions for checkout. For my first beach visit with my 2yr old Grandson, it was wonderful.

Perfect Little Getaway Place

This condo was the cutest little place, very clean and cozy. My kids really enjoyed the clean pool which was never crowded, and I really appreciated the onsite laundry capabilities. So close to the beach. The beach right outside the condo wasn’t overpopulated either and made for quick fun. This specific condo balcony overlooks land/grassy areas, but was still comforting to sit out and enjoy the ocean sounds, which were just over the hill. Very worth being on the first floor, quick to come and go. Management communicated almost immediately after messaging. Such an easy and pleasant experience. We will definitely be back.

Birthday Weekend

We enjoyed our weekend celebrating our daughter’s 18th birthday. The location of the condo was fantastic-quick walk to the beach and a perfect spot for an early morning sunrise. The condo had everything we needed and the six of us were very comfortable.

Great property. I couldn’t think of a negative about the listing regardless of how hard I tried. House is very clean and nice. The pool area is very nice as well. Walking from the condo to the boardwalk isn’t bad. I’ll definitely book again next year as long as availability work out.

A great place to stay

This was our 4th condo at Carolina Beach in the last 7 or 8 years, and it was our favorite one so far. Very clean and updated. We will certainly be trying to book this one again the next time we vacation here. It was a bit too cold to use the pool but it looked very nice as well. The only downside is you can't see the ocean from the balcony because of the slight hill but that didn't bother us at all.

Close enough to perfect for me.

We are older people with bad knees. This condo is on the ground floor only steps away from the board way path down to the beach. We sacrificed the ocean view for this convenience, but the dunes and sea oats more than made up for it.

Enjoyed our visit!

The unit was clean and cozy! There wasnt a dust pan which would have been helpful and the bulb was out on the living room. They were doing work and had removed our door while we were there as well. I did love the out door shower and the pool was clean and most enjoyable! The proximity to the beach was ideal as well.

Wonderful stay at Carolina Beach!

We enjoyed staying here so much! Such easy acess to the beach . The condo was very clean and provided sheets , pillows, and towells !! It had lots chairs and beach toys to use. Our kids loved the pool as well. Overall GREAT ! The host was wonderful as well, answered all our questions quickly and was so helpful during our stay ! The ONLY negative thing i could say is that you cant actually see the beach from the back porch due to the high dunes. But you can still hear the waves !

Quick trip to the Beach

We had a great stay at Luna by the Sea! The kids enjoyed the bunk beds, the beach toys, and the all the seashells. One day it rained, we took the suggestion of the owner and checked out the aquarium over in Kure Beach. We were able to get our tickets and reservations online which was key as they sold out a few hours later. The acessiblity for my mom who has poor knees was excellent. A close parking space, first floor accommodation with walkin shower, and few hundred feet to the beach to name a few. We can't wait to come visit again!

It was very nice, my two sisters myself and my mother who is ninety We all had a great time. The condo was very clean and the people around were very nice. The only problem we had was the pool code. Did not work for any one staying at the condo.

Great Place For Families

We loved our stay. The place was adorable. Everything in the condo/ building was very clean and well maintained. I’m a property manager so I’m pretty picky. Let me add that we even enjoyed the neighbors. Everyone was so friendly. We left our pool toys at the pool to share with the other kids. Those toys remained all week. I can’t say enough about how safe we felt there. The walk to the beach was fabulous too. It was so close I didn’t mind fetching snacks or leaving kids while I spent a little extra time on the beach. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

Nice getaway

We enjoyed our stay. We had one small problem with the pool code, but the property manager was super responsive and got it resolved. The condo was nicely updated, clean and comfortable. The only thing I was disappointed in was you couldn’t see the beach from the deck. The photos in the listing didn’t really give an accurate view. I chose this condo so we didn’t have to carry stuff up a lot of stairs (no elevator) so it worked out. Overall, the property was great! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home.

Carolina Beach trip

We had such a wonderful experience, they were very hospitable, the condo was ready and clean, nice and very convenient location! Right by the beach the only issue was not knowing the pool was seasonal and not open at the time.Even though it was kinda of an issue at the beginning everything else made up for it the experience was above and beyond expectations!! We will definitely be back again
