Friendly pub that serves excellent food.
Nice friendly landlady, Lynne. Very helpful and personable. Clean room, albeit it quite small. Comfy bed. The food was amazing. Would highly recommend. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Clean and comfortable
Clean but tired. The bed was amazingly comfortable but the room was very small. Nb. There’s no breakfast served here. Landlady runs it all herself with one chef so bar closed really early on a Saturday night which was a real shame. If you want a base camp for a weekend of walking or other activities and just want a clean and friendly place to put your head you can’t go far wrong. Just don’t expect a hotel service and normal residents bar privileges.
