This place is small but mighty. It has all you need to make your stay in Carmel amazing. It's a very small place behind a house, which at first seems odd, but once my husband and I settled in, it didn't bother us at all. The bed is comfy and the space is open and airy. The kitchen has a microwave and baby fridge, but not a stove, oven, or dishwasher. Quite frankly you don't want to cook anyway- there's awesome food all around you!! It was an easy walk to many restaurants and bars. We did make coffee each morning in the drip coffee maker, but there's also delicious coffee very nearby.
I was worried about the street parking, but it wasn't a problem. The street the cottage is on doesn't restrict parking at all, so we parked the car and didn't get back into it until we left for home.
Finally, the beach is about 5 blocks down the hill from the cottage. Truly beautiful with views of Pebble Beach. Bring along the sunscreen and a light jacket, Carmel can be warm and sunny to cool and foggy quickly.
