「Unfortunately never found the hotel as the map locator was 15 miles away. Looked for an hour on the map locator and couldn't find. Hopefully they fixed it now. DO NOT GO TO PORTOBELO village to find this hotel. Maps wrong.」

「Two hour drive from Panama City, Potholes everywhere, one of the roads to access was washed out so we had to take a detour. The picture of the beautiful beach to swim at in their profile...it is of the beach you have to take a boat to, not near the properties, and the boat is $30 per person. Casa Congo is not a hotel but a conglomeration of houses along the street. All the restaurants were closed when we went there. The local store is horrible. The local drum band, not a high school band...

「Beautiful B&B in town, and very helpful staff who helped any time I had questions. The room was quaint and the A/C worked well. Had options for made-to-order breakfasts and a cute upstairs area with an honor bar. Able to keep things in a community fridge with sections for each room.」
