If you are looking for a fun activity for the children, Castell Henllys Iron Village is not far away. Explore their roundhouse, where you will meet the friendly Iron Age villagers as they share their knowledge about prehistoric life. A short distance from the local market town of Cardigan (4.2mls), famously known as one of Wales’s most historic towns with attractive buildings and a castle. Additionally, the nearest beach to the property is Mwnt beach (2.8mls), a National Trust beach with panoramic views of the bay. It is also a haven for wildlife, so at the right time of the year, you can catch a pod of bottlenose dolphins swimming by.
Head back to your base after a day exploring the Ceredigion coast and take advantage of the spacious living accommodation that is perfect for families. Make yourself at home in the lounge, settle on the leather sofas and enjoy a family film night, a further snug offers comfortable seating and TV and is perfect for relaxing with a good book. Walk through to the spacious kitchen/diner where you can gather around the wooden dining table and chairs to enjoy family meals, the contemporary kitchen is well equipped providing everything you may need during your stay, along with French doors that open on to the patio area. From the main hallway guests have the choice of three generously sized bedrooms two double bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms and a twin bedroom, there is a family bathroom that has a bath, shower cubicle and WC.
The enclosed gardens are perfect for entertaining, there is a hot tub to relax in, a gas BBQ for the chef amongst you, along with a lawned area ideal for garden games. There is a small garden house with a pool table, games, a dart board and a running machine. Parking for two cars on the driveway.
