See for yourself as you glance through the windows at the picturesque views of the glistening Crystal Lake!

In the summer, you can enjoy swimming in the crystal clear water, sunbathing, fishing, and kayaking. In the winter, come enjoy skiing and snowboarding at Elk Mountain, Pennsylvania’s finest ski resort with 1000 feet of vertical drop and 100% snowmaking coverage. Montage Mountain, which also features snowtubing is located nearby (30 miles) just off Route 81. In the fall, you will enjoy the colorful foliage and quiet peacefulness of the lake. There are also a number of local festivals that will keep you entertained! Truly a great experience regardless of time of year!

Exceeded expectations
Our good friends daughter was getting married at the Fern Hall Estate and we did not like the hotel options provided. We couldn’t have had a better weekend. The house is bigger and better than the listing shows. We were a party of 8 adults and a 1 year old and theee was plenty of room for all. The house was furnished beautifully.

Perfect location for skiing at Elk Mtn
The home is beautifully designed and furnished. Plenty of comfortable seating, big screen tvs, & comfortable beds. Our skiing family members were happy to be so close to Elk. Easy communication with the owner. Property was clean.

Great House and Great Location
Family of 12 stayed here for holidays. Enjoyed the great views and ample living spaces for everyone to gather or separate as needed. Loved the tankless hot water heater to support everyone taking showers at random times without worrying about running out of hot water. Enjoyed having an open garage bay to pull in to unload the cars out of the weather. Thanks for the great communication and supporting our arrival and departure.

Perfect wedding weekend getaway!
I would give this a 10-star review if it was possible. We booked for a wedding weekend away from home, and this was truly a home away from home. James was an absolute star of a host—he was kind, professional, responsive, and accommodated any special requests with ease. James made it very easy to check in and out. The welcome packet that James emailed to us a few days beforehand is very organized and detail-oriented, which made the entire stay enjoyable, stress-free, and seamless. Additionally, James was always available if we had any questions, and he checked in on us regularly to make sure everything was going well. The house was immaculate, and exceeded all of our needs and expectations in every way. Everything was spotless, and the views of Crystal lake are gorgeous. We will absolutely stay here again if the need arises, even if it is just for my husband and I. Thank you James for hosting us!
