This hotel has a unique and authentic location but is not near the main Sorrento attractions, so logistics are challenging… especially for boat trips. The attached restaurant and dining/ drinking options were solid. The front desk staff is not great at communicating details which led to timing and cost complexity a few times. The “family room with a partial sea view” was simply a misrepresentation. There was no sea view from our room. It was a view of trash cans. And the room in general was low quality…considering the price.

The absolute best hotel in sorrento. No real discussion here. Private elevator to sorrento Pier. That was amazing. Beautiful sunset dinners. Right in town. Amazing. I can’t say enough. When we are back in sorrento, I will only stay here. I will adjust days if I have to

We stayed here for 2 nights prior to our leave back home. One of the reasons I picked the hotel was the close location to the airport. The other was the fact that they had a gym or claim to have one. My husband is an avid cyclist and needs to ride frequently otherwise his legs start cramping up, so I filtered the hotels in Naples based on gym presence. I was very disappointed when we arrived as the hotel was not accurately represented in the photos. The photos on Expedia with the entrance with palm trees and flowers is actually the neighboring (sister) hotel across the street, NOT hotel Tiempo. Hotel Tiempo's access was from an alley. The location is in an industrial zone with a lot of trash everywhere. We walked the streets multiple times to get to the Naples Metro Station and city center and have never seen more trash and graffiti in my life. The room was very plain but at least clean. Beds were hard, pillows flat and the silky bedspread did not smell good. We only used the sheet to cover with. The hotel does not have a gym either. They have a gym "10 minutes away" somewhere and you get to use it for 1 hour. The staff wasn't even sure about the information regarding the gym so my husband gave up on the idea. If it weren't for the gym claim, we would have stayed somewhere nicer closer to the center area.

Breakfast was great- with fruit, good selection of breads and pastries. Did not realize in time of booking how far it was from the historic center. Cab fare was expensive.
