The four of us stayed for a month and it was a beautiful place to stay. The pool and deck area is picture perfect! Silvi our property manager was very responsive when we had a couple questions. We will be back next year !

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
We have been using Vrbo for the past 5 years, at least twice a year with an impeccable record, and this is the first time we go through something as terrible as this. This was a horrific experience overall. We won’t go back to this place nor will recommend it, and Vrbo didn’t back us up at all. The house sleeps 8 but after paying for 7 nights the owner said we had violated the house rules and we needed to pay extra. The owner, Mr. Nagel, sent, on Sunday morning, an individual who claimed to be his business partner (which I doubt because he didn’t talk to us as a business partner talks to clients who already paid and have a contract). This person was rude and racist, he said, and I quote “You have two options, pay more, or leave now.” He was threatening us with calling the police and called us demeaning words in German. This was unacceptable because obviously we rented the house for 4, not just 1. The extra payment they were requesting was for 3 and that was unfair. We got there at 5PM, the cleaning crew was still there. They did not provide a single supply, no paper towel, not a single garbage bag, etc. The grill was dirty and the two gas tanks were empty. There were roaches in every room. The owner said the AC had to be kept at 79 Fahrenheit which is hot for Florida especially on the hottest summer ever registered in Florida. They had the AC thermostat on a schedule to raise the temperature to 78 every night, so we had to get up at 3AM and lower it because it was too hot.

Sorry about that bad experience which I would like to comment as follows: 1. A check-in could not be carried out by our ladies from the house management because the guests had refused. 2. Since there was obviously fraud here, since 8 people entered the house the night before, as a neighbor reported, we had sent an employee to check it out. This person is not a racist and did not use offensive words in German. Since the guests can't speak German, it's probably a slander to say so. 3. From our side it is a fraudulent practice for one person to book and pay and stay there with at least 4 people. 4. The air conditioning can of course be set lower, which is also important at these temperatures. This is explained at check-in, which the guests declined (probably to disguise the actual number of people). 5. Normally, toilet paper, washing-up liquid, etc. should be ready for the first use. If this is not the case, you can inform our property management and they will solve this problem. 6. The same goes for the grill and gas tanks. This is to be communicated to the property management so that it can be settled. 7. If there are cockroaches, it is mandatory to report this to the property management so that pest control can be carried out. Although this is carried out automatically at regular intervals, it can happen in Florida that you get the problem in between and have to act. Conclusion: The issues raised have been clarified by our property management on site. In order for the stay to be relaxing and enjoyable, this service should also be used by the guests. We do not accept fraudulent activity. In this case, an additional claim was made, which was then paid.

House, pool and hot tub was even more amazing then the pictures. Great neighborhood! Property manager Siliva was amazing!! Had 1 small problem with the hot tub heating. I called, she answered right away. I told her about the issue and it wasn't a huge deal would just like it fixed in the next day or two. She personally came within a couple hours and fixed the issue. 5 stars for the property, price and the manager!!

Even though property was in a neighborhood it was still secluded feeling. The property manager was accessible and courteous. This place is good for families. Very easily could sleep 8 people. We enjoyed lounging on the lani and grilling with views of the canals while doing so. Will definitely be staying here again when we travel back down. Absolutely gorgeous property.

The property was amazing . Better than we thought it would be. The only downside i could see was if you had small children which we did not. There were no twin beds and tile was very slippery with wet feet. If they ce running in from pool area they would fall very easily. Beautiful location very quiet.

The house was beautiful outside and inside. When we got there we found out the screening around the pool area was not all there, informed the property manager and was told that I knew about it and said I would be ok with it, that was not at all true. She got a crew there to fix it but it took so much time that we were only able to use the pool 2 days out of 14. Not happy with that. Had problems with the tv in the primary bedroom took them 2 days to fix it. When we arrived on Saturday evening and turned on the oven found all kinds of aluminum foil on racks and a burnt on stain on bottom of oven. Texted property manager about water bugs in the kitchen she never responded back to me. Also the check in book needs to be updated. There is a phone number listed for after hour contact and it is the number of some lady that is not connected to the home and she is not happy about getting all these phone calls. It is a lovely house and would stay there again if the problems were taken care of. DH

Thank you for your feedback. We try to get better with our services and want to explain some points: Screening pool area: unfortunaltely hurrican IAN removed one screen line at the pool. We wanted to fix that but the guests didn’t want to be disturbed during their stay. So we planed to do that end of February at the first time without guests. You told our porperty management that the missing screens should be replaced asap and when our property management told you that it could take 2-3 days you told them that this is okay for you! The works didn’t take 12 days – so why did you use the pool just 2 days??? TV bedroom: It worked when you arrived. The next day the TV lost the connection which was fixed the next day. Another day our property management had to come again to explain you the TV in the living room again. Aluminum foil in the oven: is renewed at every arrival Water bugs: one day before your departure you messaged out property management. When they arrived there to check that they didn’t find any bugs Phone number in the info book onsite: will be updated soon. The correct information details were sent with the welcome guide. Our property management came 5 times to explain you things several times which were shown at the check in. You told our propery management you enjoyed the time and the pool area. Despite everything I hope you have had a good time!

#Best Vacation Ever
We stayed at this property shortly after Hurricane Ian, Oct. 28-Nov. 4 with a group of 6 adults. The property manager was insightful and honest with everything about the house so there were no suprises when we arrived. Very easy check-in and out. This property was ideal for our group since we had the pool and hot tub right out the back door. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub temperature were perfect each day and night and was easily monitored at no additional cost. The location of the house was perfect and close to many good eating spots and activities. Would book this property again in a heart beat. A MUST rent if you are going to Cape Coral.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful!! Our families just the best time. The pictures are nothing compared to the house in person!! If was very clean, lots of linens and the kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were comfortable and the shower in the master was wonderful! The pool and the hot tub was beyond amazing!! The kids enjoyed the pool from sun up to sun down along with fishing on the canal. Were were also lucky enough to be able to see a manatee, a dolphin and a few stingrays! Checking in and checking out was very easy with no issues!! We hope to stay again in the future!!

This is one of the nicest places I've stayed in Cape Coral. Very clean, well appointed and well stocked. Nice linens and great bath towels. The laundry machines were high quality and very clean. All 4 bedrooms had queen size beds, except the master which had a king. The infinity edge pool and the hot tub were excellent. An excellent ping pong table in the garage was a nice bonus, except the paddles were worn, but we liked it so much we purchased new paddles and left them as a gift.

Villa Kapalua was fantastic!
We really loved out stay at Villa Kapalua. The house was lovely and as advertised. The pictures were accurate and matched the property perfectly. No surprises. It was only my wife and I so we only used the master bedroom. The bed was really comfortable and we slept well each night. The pool and spa are really a treat. The lanai is spacious and we spent a lot of time there. The view is spectacular over the infinity edge pool and landscape view through the screen cage over the canal. The pool was sparkling clean and temperature was perfect. It took about an hour to heat up the hot tub and we used that a few times and really enjoyed it. Access to the garage was an unexpected bonus. We used the garage door opener in our rental car which made parking in the garage convenient and gave easy access to the house. The home is in a convenient location to Cape Coral. We fell in love with "The Lobster Lady" restaurant which provided 3 beautiful dinners of fresh seafood during our stay. There were a couple minor issues that we addressed with the property manager regarding a ceiling fan and a dripping faucet, but these were very minor. We give Villa Kapalua 5 stars and would highly recommend this property.

We have stayed at other places but nothing compares to this home. The house is wonderfully appointed with an outstanding pool area overlooking a canal which provided views of dolphins, manatees and fish jumping non stop. Silvi the property manager went out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect--and she accomplished it! Highly recommend.

Fabulous property, needs a couple of tweaks
First, this is the most beautiful property we have ever stayed at (and this is like our 15th VRBO stay). If this was my house, I would certainly do some routine maintenance. THE PROS: Gorgeous house, the pool was amazing ( a bit cool but we didn't want to pay the $175/week for heat), loved the shower in the master, the kitchen was amply stocked for us and the pool / lanai had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy. The property was very clean. THE CONS: the hot tub didn't heat up (which is why we didn't want to pay to heat the pool-wasn't' sure it would work), some faucets dripped (seriously loud enough to keep one up a night), the microwave needs to be replaced, the computer / printer in the office not usable (blue screen states crashed), also, the internet is unreliable. If you plan to work remotely, just know you will need to reset the router anywhere from 2-8 times a day, not the end of the world, just not what you would expect with a property of this value. We had a few calls to the property manager, the first time she was so amazing, came to the property within the hour. After we figured out the hot tub wasn't working (wouldn't heat up over 90 degrees), took her a couple of calls / texts and a few days to respond. Her office stated she was busy with other properties (40 was what I think we were told). While we understand this , not really our problem, we were just wanting to enjoy our week. Overall, loved this property, no regrets at all renting this for the week. The pool and lanai made up for any of the tweaks this property needs. We were grateful for the opportunity to vacation here.

Thank you for your feedback and sorry for the problems. The problem with heating the pool/tub was fixed with the new pool heater. The dripping was fixed with repairig the AC. One big point: YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR HEATING THE POOL/HOT TUB. The only additional fee (see rental agreement) is the electric charge if you use more than $ 20 per day. Usually that is enough for heating the pool and other things.

Beautiful Home! Wonderful Vacation!
We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home. The layout of the home was perfect for our family. We spent a lot of time in the pool area which was very relaxing. The drive to restaurants and stores was not too far. Driving to the beaches took a little longer, but that was mainly due to traffic. We had a great vacation and would certainly stay in this area and this home again!

We loved the lanai and pool area. The house easily accommodated our group of 8. The house was in a quiet neighborhood and felt safe. Lots of amenities available in the kitchen, bonus with the ping pong table, plenty of towels, etc. A few downsides included spotty WIFi even for basic internet searches, bikes need to be serviced and pool toys were mostly in disrepair. While the house was in mostly good condition, there are some items that need attention like replacing lightbulbs, repairing sliding glass doors so all are functional, leaky faucets in the bathrooms, and overhead rain shower needs repair. We did see a couple cockroaches in the garage and laundry room as well. Overall the positives outweighed the negatives and with a few quick improvements, this property would be excellent.

Only negative that we had was that you cannot regulate the pool temp. They have it on an automatic setting and it is password protected. We enjoy our pool on the warmer side (not that it was cold). We just would've liked to been able to control the temp. Beautiful home and would definitely stay there again.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Cape Coral. The home was VERY clean and the pool was clean as well. Amenities were good, plenty of bathrooms, but be sure to be prepared because u will need to bring soap and all toiletries, dish washer detergent, laundry soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. There are some miscellaneous items, such as spices for cooking, that others have left. Property manager is very nice, attentive and quick to respond. We absolutely loved having our own pool, and would definitely recommend this vacation home!

This is a beautiful home. It was clean, comfortable well decorated with all the amenities. Ping pong table, bikes and games for the kids. And the highlight was the outdoor space. Infinity pool hot tub 6 lounge chairs large dining table toys for the pool it was perfect. We enjoyed dinners outside every night in this beautiful screened in palace. I BBQ ed on the huge grill provided. ( found a great meat market... Mario’s Italian meat market) close to the house. That’s another thing the location of this house is close to all shopping and Sanibel Island. The view from the back is awesome too right on a canal this house has I boat lift too. The management was very attentive to any questions we had also. My daughter and grandkids were only supposed to stay one weeek with us but loved it so much she begged her husband to stay two. He agreed because he could work from the office in the house. Can’t wait to come back next year this house it truly awesome

This is a very nice property for the 6 adults that stayed here. All 4 bedrooms had patio doors that can go to the pool without going through the house. Large open floor plan in the living Room kitchen area was very nice I would highly recommend this property!

Classy 4 bedroom with pool and dock
Easy checking, sparkling pool, big kitchen and main room. Fortunately hurricane Sally went past us but we had a spectacular lightning storm we watched from the covered patio. No complaints.
