「We stayed in the suite for 2 weeks and it was a wonderful jumping off point for Tuscany. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.The breakfast options were also great. Volterra is a sizable town and on the tourist trail for people coming in from Florence for sure, but we still had no trouble getting restaurant reservations and things were much more quiet in the evenings.」

「Eine sehr schöne Anlage mit hohen schattenspendenden Bäumen. Es gibt ein Restaurant das ein für Italien sehr umfangreiches Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen anbietet, freundliches Personal. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war funktional, die Betten groß und bequem, nur die Küchenausstattung etwas spartanisch und etwas in die Jahre gekommene Sanitäranlagen. Schöner Pool plus Kinderbecken, die Liegen aber recht hart und durch die vielen Nadelbäume tritt man öfter in etwas Hartes am Poolrand, daher...

「Wunderschönes Hotel im alten Kohlebergwerk. Etwas abgeschieden, dafür aber die totale Ruhe. Wir haben super geschlafen! Das Abendessen kann man im Freien geniessen, gute Auswahl und lecker gekocht. Unbedingt jeweils am Morgen reservieren! Einziger Negativpunkt: Das Personal ist beim Frühstück überfordert, da man als Gast nichts selber schöpfen darf. So entstehen Wartezeiten. 」
