Birthday celebrations

A group of 14 stayed at the villa to celebrate our 40th birthdays. The accomodation is close to the main town, was clean and spacious and included everything you could want for a large group. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left Jesper was very flexible allowing early check in and late check out to suit our group. Would highly recommend.

Amazing stay

We were a group of friends (13 people) who had an amazing stay in this villa. The host was so accomodating and quick to answer any questions or concerns we had, and the check in/check out process was seamless. The house is beautiful, large, clean and modern and at a perfect location, just a short walk down to central Cannes. Would highly recommend! Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect location to celebrate our friend’s engagement!

The photos of this property absolutely do not do it justice, the villa is absolutely beautiful & exceeded out expectations!! The villa was the perfect setting to celebrate a friend’s engagement, with plenty of space in the communal areas to host 14 of us. The villa was incredibly clean and the property manager was on hand to help us with any queries we had. A small hiccup with the pool at the beginning of our stay was quickly rectified and we were able to make use of it for the rest of our stay. Couldn’t recommend the villa enough, and certainly hope to visit again in the near future! Thank you again for having us.

Perfect for a family reunion

Lovely villa with great views to sea (and the new year's eve fireworks). Suited our needs perfectly for large villa for family get together. Pool was great, if a little cold in January! We suspect the villa has changed owners and is now in need of some work and repairs. Agency was very responsive in dealing with some issues when we first got there. Be aware an additional Euros 400 linen and cleaning charge will be payable.

Family vacation

First impressions were very good, with adequate cooking, reception and dining areas. Bedrooms varied as to size with some of them compact. Hanging areas for clothing and lack of hangers in some rooms. The pool was good but needed attention to cleanliness possibly due to our numbers. Lower bedroom toilets were problematic and prone to flooding with water and waste matter coming back up into the shower outlet. Typical of too small a waste and or should not be combined with the toilet waste! It meant we could not use these facilities for two days! But dealt with promptly by Jasper.

Quiet and Tranquil

We traveled as a company to attend the Cannes Lions International Festival and wanted to stay away from the Croisette Beach area. We opted to stay on the hillside, about a 20-minute walk to Le Palais des Festivals. From the very beginning, Jesper was very communicative with us. He posted notes to us and offered many thoughts, ideas, and suggestions on the best use of the Villa. He let us know where the closest restaurants were located, along with a neighborhood market. He also shared details about the neighbors and the amenities at the Villa. Check in and payment were a breeze. Very simple. When we arrived, Emma was waiting for us and talked about the property and what we needed to do to utilize the keys. The hosts also had nice snacks and the place was fully appointed with plates, cups, coffee machines, utensils, a steam iron, etc. This is a place to get away from the tourists and traffic. If you want to use this place as a party pad, it would not be an ideal place for that. The area feels very safe and secure, and we did not have any challenges or issues with the neighbors or the neighborhood.

We had a great time visiting this villa. The rooms were lovely, kitchen was so well equipped, and the pool and location were beautiful. It’s a decent walk from Cannes, but a lovely one at that, and a great place to explore what this part of France has to offer.

Thank you so much for an outstanding rental experience. The villa manager went out of his way to help us, answering questions prior to our rental (quickly) and was totally flexible when our plans and number of guests changed. We were made to feel super welcome, the villa was beautiful, clean, full of amenities and the staff helped to take receipt of our grocery shop so that it was in the fridge ahead of our arrival. The team allowed us to check in early and check out late, which really made a huge difference to our holiday and the planning of it, particularly because I live in another continent and time zone. Would highly recommend, this team went above and beyond for us. Thank you so so much!

Misleading Advert and No Support - Avoid This Property!

Our stay at this property from 15th to 20th August 2024 was a nightmare. The listing is entirely misleading, with outdated photos that don’t reflect the current, poorly maintained state of the property. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find a dirty house with serious health hazards, including black mould in one room and regular mould in several others, posing a risk to anyone with respiratory conditions. My partner, who has asthma, suffered severe reactions, leaving us scrambling for alternative accommodation, which was impossible to find on short notice during peak season. Despite contacting VRBO immediately, we received no support or assistance. The host was equally unresponsive and dismissive, ignoring our concerns completely. We were left with no choice but to stay in this unsuitable property. The showers flooded and were unusable, the outdoor area was poorly maintained with a dirty pool and broken, filthy garden furniture, and the entire property was filthy with wet towels left in the washing machine and foul-smelling appliances. This experience ruined our holiday. We ended up leaving a day early after finally finding alternative accommodation, but the damage was done. The misleading advert and total lack of support from VRBO and the host made this a holiday disaster. Avoid this property at all costs.

Sehr schöne Villa

Die Villa ist wunderschön und gut ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und die Badezimmer sehen luxeriös aus. Von der Villa hat man ausserdem einen schönen Meerblick! Anscheinend sind die Nachbarn etwas lärmempfindlich aber wir habe viel Musik gehört und es hat niemanden gestört:) Das einzig nicht ganz so positive ist die Lager der Villa. Bis man am Meer oder bei einem Laden ist muss man schon mal 25 Minuten Laufzeit berechnen und zurück geht es dann bergauf… aber wenn man sich darauf einstellt ist es prima!

Grand espace à vivre à Cannes

La villa est située sur les hauteurs de Cannes avec une belle vue sur les îles de Lerins. Les chambres sont très grandes, seules 2 sont plus petites. Le centre de Cannes est à 1,5 kms soit 20 minutes à pied. Mais il faut prendre une voiture pour aller chercher du pain ou son journal. L’espace juste devant la maison, à l’interieur, est suffisamment grand pour y mettre 3 voitures. La maison était froide en arrivant, au bout d’une journée la température était meilleure. Nous avons demandé et obtenu des couvertures pour avoir moins froid la nuit. Ce sont des climatisations réversibles (chaud/froid) dans les chambres sauf une chambre et les salles de bain. Des odeurs permanentes d’égouts dans les toilettes et douches sont très désagréables. L’évacuation de l’eau des sanitaires est extrêmement limitée obligeant à fortement limiter le débit d’eau des douches pour éviter les inondations. La pièce principale est grande et il est facile de manger à 15. La cuisine permet de préparer des repas pour 15 mais il manque quelques ustensiles. Au global le séjour a été agréable.
