"I would not recommend this property at all. Upon check-in, we were handed the key to a room that was clearly unclean. After informing the front desk, we were offered another room, only to find that it too had not been properly cleaned.
When I went back down to the reception to explain the situation, the response I received was shocking: “Well how are we supposed to know if it’s clean.” For a hotel, this is completely unacceptable. Cleanliness is one of the most basic expectations any guest...

"Hotel is a good choice hotel off the main harbour of Cannes quite comfortable, staff are friendly only issues we had was first night at accommodation we were woke up by a violent fight in the corridor, then when we upgraded to a suite the rooms safe was broken staff fixed it however bathroom drains didn't seem to be flowing very well"
"Really well located hotel, close to the beach and central Cannes - everywhere is walkable. Great room, lovely staff. Best bedding and the cleaning team kept our room spotless. Some road noise, but you’re effectively in central Cannes so only to be expected. Would stay again."

"Iconic hotel in a great location. We enjoyed our room on the sixth floor although the bathroom was too small and the closet was tiny Service throughout the hotel was excellent although housekeeping was inconsistent. They routinely forget to replace coffee cups, teabags, etc. Not what you'd expect for over $1,100 a night. Overall though the Martinez is highly recommended."
"Our Welcome was wonderful. Smiley face and lovely greeting. Rang to ensure our room was ready even though we were well before our check in time. We had been upgraded also. Corner room with twin aspect. Super clean bright room. Comfy bed. Service was fantastic and the team there couldn’t have done any more for us. We were smiley and happy and they loved it and were the same with us.
Would recommend and will be back and stay there again. "
