"This is quite the place, a log cabin right on the bank of the Ohio River. This property is off the “beaten path” and very remote. The rental is very rustic looking, yet has all the amenities we could ask for; WiFi, air conditioning, stove, dishwasher, and comfortable furniture. It is truly a gem. My only thought is that the WiFi didn’t connect well in the “far reaches” of the master bedroom. "I feel the description of the castle and its accommodations were on point. Nothing to do with the castle itself but Ticks were an issue. The beds were not the most comfortable- but not the worse either. A futon was broken and unusable- this could have been an issue if we had been expecting to use, the door racks to the ref. were missing, icemaker didn't work and dishwasher seal was lying inside (we didn't use). We had plenty of toiletries, towels, dishes, cookware, grill gas, dish soap,body...

"Overall, this property is exactly as listed. It’s in a great location. The only issues we had were lack of toilet paper and paper towels and the cleanliness of the hot tub and back deck. There is a lack of water pressure in the shower. Nathan was very responsive when we contacted him. He is a new owner of this property, so hopefully this review will help him address easily corrected issues."

"Four of us were down to fish a tournament on Patoka Lake. Shannon was great on the lead up communication and Collin got us and our boats situated. Could not have asked for a better location and hosts (including the guard dog)! Will definitely be staying there again next year."

"My family and I booked at the last minute so we could go view the Solar Eclipse. The process of booking, checking in and checking out was a breeze. "We stayed over memorial day weekend and had a great time. There were 4 of us and a dog, yet there was plenty of space to spare. The back porch backs directly up into the woods, and I kept trying to catch glimpse of sasquatch to no avail.
