Overall a great hotel , amazing staff , close to the ocean , private beach . Building and furniture is on the older side , and the traffic of the street is quite noisy .

Really great place. And if you want to go to Isla Mujeres the boats leave literally at the back of the hotel. So convenient.

It was rough. We have stayed at other resorts with the same ratings and it we have not had a bad experience. Imperial Las Perlas needs LOTS and LOTS of improvement. The beds were either too old or too cheap, the mattresses were hard, the pillows? Oh jeez, they were the thinnest ones out there. We thought, well, the room is bad but as long as the food is good, it may balance it. NOPE! The food was always cold unless you are there between 7pm and 7:15pm... any time after that it was cold and not that many options either. The drinks had no ice, and they were not being fill back up constantly. The toilet didnt work properly. The outlets are high up on the walls, why???? The service was good, Ill give them that. We will never stay there again! We were out and about all day, so we didnt enjoy the pool, so we though... well, (fully aware od the rating) if we only need it to sleep and eat, its ok. Lord, how wrong were we. I dont recommend it at all.

Over all a good experience, the staff were very friendly. I want to specifically point out to Miguel who was at the front desk. Always ready to serve. However, this place is not best for the vegan/vegetarian for all inclusive. i had difficulty finding enough to eat. Even though rooms were clean i had cockroach in one room. But the staff immediately changed the room for me when I reported it to them. Place has great swimming pool views. Sea views were decent. Place was bit old and gave a rustic cottage vibes.

It’s better to choose a regular hotel with no all inclusive than to choose this hotel. Food is inedible, hotel is run down, rooms are dirty, stains on the wall, bedsheets, etc. It is so noisy throughout the night with inconsiderate people running up and down the stairs so noisily, you would think they are right next to you. The employees start their business so early in the morning, and the noise travels directly into the room, their loud voices, hammering sounds, loud laughters, make it impossible to sleep. Do yourself a favor and spend more and pick another all inclusive or get a regular hotel and order out. Ate here only once and ordered Uber eats rest of the stay. Terrible place.

The hotel is labeled as bi-lingual but not many people knew English. Sissy was great, she is an activity sponsor and knows the best English at the hotel. She will help with any advice or questions you may have!

Room was large, clean enough but we had no hotwate for 12 days out of our 14 days stay, food was terrible not even closed to the taste of European and or northe American stile but suitable for people from local abnd vicinities, some waitress are not polite, they think those are going there are bunch of bozos that have to be cheated for money and or service. Never go to this place again

As a solo traveler, this was a great place to stay. It was very affordable and easy access to transportation into town as well as down the hotel zone. The food was pretty good and the drinks were strong. Pretty convenient that there's a catamaran service off the docks at the back of the hotel as well (Cancun Sailing). Would definitely stay here again.

This is an older hotel, still nice. Bus stops very close to hotel. 👍 The shower head spayed water everywhere but that is due to the hard water.

Nice location for ease of transportation. Very friendly staff. Tourist facilities within easy reach. Opportunities for walking. There is room for improvement in room facilities maintenance such as a leaking handwash tap not fixed despite report and rusty tap in the bathroom.

It was clean and the location was ok. I was under the impression I had reserved with all inclusive but they told me that was not the case. I went there for the pool and finally the pool was closed for maintenance so I didn't get the chance to use it. The remote for the tv didn't work and we waited 45 minutes in the lobby to get our room. Most of the staff was nice though.

Well the staff was very nice but it was very hard to communicate not many spoke any English at all. But we are in their country so that is acceptable. What I didn't like was the mustiness smell especially in the bathroom. After housekeeping came in it smelled okay for a short time and then went back to the musty smell. The shower was absolutely horrible you had to stand in it for at least 5 minutes before you even got any warm water and then it was so scalding hot you had to turn on some cold that made the scalding hot cold again. You couldn't win. I think the two top things that I disliked was there was absolutely no beach to swim. The water was just filled with sargasm and they had sandbags all along the edge so you couldn't even get in the water if you wanted to. The second thing was the food was atrocious. $18 for dinner in the food was ice cold and terrible tasting. I would not recommend this place to anyone that could afford something different. I've been going to Cancun since 1989 and this was by far the worst place I've ever stayed in. And I'm not spoiled I just like a nice place. The last six or seven years I've stayed at hotel casa Maya but unfortunately their temporary closed I believe due to renovations.

I would stay here again. It's a budget resort, and my expectations were low. Our room was simple, but comfortable, very clean, had a large patio with view. Good location, very walkable, some amazing beaches close by. Only complaints are: -walls don't keep sound out, -room was cleaned when the DND sign was up, -shower drain was sluggish, -food selection was limited. The staff were pleasant, though not a lot of english speakers. Sissy was a social coordinator of sorts (fluent in several languages), and made our stay very fun!

If you’re white/English speaker AVOID THIS RESORT. The staff is rude/racist, we waited in line for a burger like everyone else, once we got to the front the staff member kept serving the Spanish speaking locals behind us until one of them gave us their burger. I wish I got the ladies name. Not welcoming at all. Go elsewhere!

Generally property was ok. Do not have own beach. On front is sealing boats where tourist coming. So to swim you need go maybe 100 M on other side. We have all inclusive deal , to bad they not serve coffee after meals hours. And restaurant need some updates, is not well organized , where is drinking there is noise, but wish they be less at midnight

This hotel was a little smaller than we were anticipating, but didn't disappoint. The food was great, drinks were strong. You have an opportunity to make it all inclusive, which we recommend. With a little bit more moneys get you a lot more to experience. The rooms were big and clean. Beds comfy. And good size balcony. One thing I would recommend to the hotel is to provide a bedside light. Because of the size of the resort most rooms had ocean view. They have a nice beach area, but not the best for swimming. The resort is right by a sail boat dock. But don't stop yourself from exploring what's around as well. The other guests were mostly Spanish, which helped us stay emersed in the culture. Which we liked.

For the number of stars and the prize, we had a nice time. Mainly we spent the time at the beach on the space that they have on he lounge chairs under the umbrellas. We went only for breakfast once, and it was not bad, we enjoyed it. After reading all the bad reviews before going, we were a bit scared, but we had a good time!!
