He said that would be ok but showed up in a compact car, and struggled to fit stuff in. In the end, one of us had to find another way to get to the house. "I booked a room with a terrace and was shocked to find I had to climb a flight of stairs to get to my room once I entered the door! I was able to get help from the very friendly staff at the hotel since I wouldn't have been able to carry my luggage up the stairs without assistance. The view from my room was spectacular and made this inconvenience worth my trouble. I would have preferred to have learned about the stairs when I read the description of the room. It was quite a surprise when I unlocked the door!"
