Camperdown Wildlife Centre

The hotel looks nothing like the photographs. It is run down and poorly maintained. It is grubby. The whole hotel reeks of chemicals - bleach and chlorine. Even in the corridors on the second floor. It was really bad in our room which was tiny and airless with a window facing a brick will. Felt ill with the smell. Chose the hotel for the spa facilities but left without checking it out due to the overall cleanliness and stench.

We went as a group of 3 couples. Upon arrival we were made more than welcome. Every single member of staff where so friendly. Our rooms where spotlessly clean, and got cleaned every day with fresh towels each day. The breakfasts where spot on, there was something there for evey dietary requirements. We ate in the restaurant each evening, and the food was amazing. As a group of six we well made good use of the Bar on our three nights stay... This was our first visit to Carnoustie, and what a gem of a pick we made to stay at the 19th Hole. We will Definitely return next year. Myself and my Husband are from Tenerife. Two of our friend's are from Billingham. Our other two friends are from Bournemouth. Each and everyone of us loved our 3 nights stay. WELL DONE TO EACH AND EVERY MEMBER OF STAFF YOU ARE ALL DOING A BRILLIANT JOB.

One night stay. Everything was very good, no complaints.
