Much of the grounds and the house itself needs some money spent - like so many rental properties owners are happy to take the money but not to spend it updating their property. "We really enjoyed our stay in La Rectoria, The house's very thick walls and spaciousness enabled us to relly enjoy our time there. The gardens are beautiful and the pool was a big plus. The only reasons I did not give it 5 stars is that it has only 2 bathrooms even though it sleeps 24 persons so it would be helpful to have a separate toilet and sink on the lower floor. "We stayed in this home for a cycling vacation around Girona. The home is even more beautiful than in the pictures. We were a group of 3 and we had more than enough space. There was a bottle of wine, a big box of cookies/snacks and plenty of coffee pods waiting for us at the home. While we enjoyed our quiet time at the house, just a very short walk takes you to Monells medieval village. This village is a must see! You will not be disappointed with this home."
