"It was a great cottage to spend 4 nights with my family. We attended an event in Stornoway and explored various parts of the island. It’s certainly an easy location to get to from the ferry being only a 5 minute drive away and great for when you’re leaving on the 7 am ferry! The kitchen is well stocked with cooking items and the bedrooms are cozy. The only negative is that’s it’s on a busy road which is sometimes noisy - but not too bad. Titus also easy access to a lovely walking trail down to the beach."

"No words or pictures could do justice to how wonderful every detail is. The view is spectacular, the surroundings and location are breathtaking, the quality of every item is well thought out and beautifully curated. Had the most wonderful, comfy and cozy stay with everything you could need. You might end up cooking quite a lot if you’re there for a while, the kitchen is very well stocked and functional. Not a single complaint, only that I had to return to reality. Thank you so much for such an incredible stay!"

"First and foremost: the hosts were so welcoming and friendly. There had been a very minor glitch at check-in (which was resolved immediately) but the hosts insisted on "making up for your trouble" by treating me to a traditional dinner at a nearby hotel. This was not necessary (I didn't feel they had anything to apologize for) but it was very appreciated. AND the cottage itself was very welcoming: everything was there--coffee, tea, cereals, milk for coffee amd cereals, lots of "biscuits" plus all the condiments and spices you needed for elegant meals. The kitchen had all the dinnerware and pots and utensils you required, the bathroom was stocked with lots of amenities, and there were plug adaptors for American-style appliance plugs. They really put a lot of thought into providing everything anyone would need to live there. It felt like home."

"As this was a last-minute work-related visit, there was very limited accommodation available throughout the island. £700 for 4 nights in a guest house I think is a bit excessive. But I suppose it was “supply on demand”. That aside Jim was very helpful regarding access to the property, and a hearty breakfast was set down within a couple of minutes of arriving in the dining room. A nice and friendly atmosphere with the other guests chatting about our experiences the previous days and what that day would bring. Shower was amazing, bed was a bit creaky but very comfortable and the room was nice and warm. Fantastic view over the bay, due to number of guests it was easier to just park on the road outside the property, there is parking for 4 cars in a first come basis, with only one other property using the road outside parking is extremely easy. Free WiFi, tea, coffee, biscuits made the stay a very enjoyable experience. I would easily stay here again, but would book in advance to avoid premium tariffs."
