"Great view, living up among the trees. Well maintained and clean quarters. Nice touches with convenient lighting and decor and a helpful printout of local recommendations. Loved the utility room adjacent to the bathroom (a clothing rack with hangers would complete it). The hairpin drive is a bit of an initiation but I can’t wait to come back! Fantastic host."

"Location is great, close to Berkeley. Helpful and welcoming staff. Slightly worn building: one elevator made noise that had a guest take the stairs, and water pressure in shower was weak. Expensive parking (40$)."

"I loved this quaint little retreat! It is a hidden gem.Once you enter the backyard, you see the lovely trees starting to bloom, ( it is the beginning of March), and you can hear various birds chirping.And, it is peaceful and quiet. I felt very relaxed.The small cottage is simply decorated with big windows looking into the yard, and a high beamed ceiling. Very charming."

"Parking was close by, such a wonderful old property with history, lovely areas like library or courtyard to sit. Pool was lovely also met a lot of local members and enjoyed talking with them. Breakfast excellent great start to the day highly recommend "

"Very clean, very well maintained and tastefully decorated private apartment. Bathroom fixtures are all new and great quality, toiletries are high quality as well. Good location close to North Berkeley shops/restaurants as well as Tilden Park trails. Easy driveway parking, especially for the Berkeley hills! Quiet and peaceful. "
