"This property was the perfect end of summer getaway for me and a friend. Not only was there plenty of space in the beautifully decorated and comfortable common areas, we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The outdoor spaces and private dock were exactly what we needed to enjoy our stay. We used the kayaks, paddle boat, and fishing gear. "This house was clean and great as far as size for a large group, what was provided in the home and had a nice view of a quiet location on the lake. The only issues we had were the garbage was never picked up all week even after notifying the property manager and the road to get in and out was treacherous which was not mentioned in the listing. "Nice little house. The place is very well kept and seems to have been updated in recent years. The host was super nice and even bought a griddle for the house so I could make pancakes for my kids. The location is near the Katy trail, Columbia and Rock Bridge State Park, which we enjoyed visiting during our stay"

Enjoyed sitting on the back deck and enjoying a bottle of wine from a local winery and a walk on the Katy trail. the tv in the living room either didnt work or, more likely, required more detailed instructions for senior citizens like us. "The kitchen and bathrooms were nicely updated, and the beds were very comfortable. Everything we needed was available, and the home was tastefully decorated. This is an older home, so it does have character. The extra bedrooms are in what would probably have been attic space originally, but the ceiling fans kept the air cool and circulated even with 90s outside. An enjoyable stay for us, our kids, and our dogs. "
