The property was very large with enough space and rooms for our group. The kitchen and bathrooms weren't exceptionally clean, but the bedrooms and linens were. The host was very prompt with communication and overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The house was well equipped and the owner was great with communication! Beds were clean and had very comfy bedding, bathrooms spotless and fully stocked! Overall property well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Beware, property is not as shown. House was beyond disgusting. Hot tub moldy/unusable. Home inside full of mice feces. Oven was black inside full of old baked food and grime. - took 6 hrs to clean before use. House was unsafe with broken floor vents, chairs, warped flooring. Yard not maintained full of garbage and long unkept grass. Outside furniture old, stained, broken. Barbeque was non working and falling apart. We had to purchase coffee pot, kettle, plates, sheets, towels as all were either moldy or full of mice feces. Please note VRBO did nothing to help us out in this situation. We were from out of town on vacation and had to deal with this. VRBO was a complete disappointment and does not stand behind their guarantee as they advertise. Beware of this property and the non existent assist from VRBO.

Family wedding

Our family group of 7 traveled from Nova Scotia for a wedding. The house was perfect for us as it has plenty of space for getting together and the 3 different levels also provided privacy for some down time. Check in was easy and the host was very quick to respond to any questions we had.

Amazing Property for Small Gathering

The property is surrounded by stunning farmland property. House is massive with enough sleeping and living space for a large group. The kitchen is very well equipped and was perfect for making dinner for 10 people. I’d highly recommend this place to any larger group wanting to get together for a weekend away!

The place was great! Very large and perfect for our three family group . We really enjoyed the ping pong table, hot tub and multiple living rooms. We had a slight issue with the water one day and Dan was there in 20 minutes and had it fixed in no time! Great host!!! Thanks for a great place Dan!!

Wish we didn't have to leave

Our stay was as most vacations to short however we greatly enjoyed our time at the true North lodge, Dan was great to deal with answering questions whenever we had them. Check in was a breeze as well as checkout. It rained most of our stay so we didn't use the outdoors to much but utilized the hot tub and covered patio area. Very neat home to stay in. Would definitely return!

Best host ever

Dan and Tim were absolutely phenomenal they were so quick to help us out when we had any questions. They are the greatest hosts ever I cant say enough good things about them. The property is huge and had everything my group needed. Checking in and out was super easy. I would recommend this place and cannot wait to book this again in the future.

Great property

Lots of room and areas for a large group. Huge deck which would be great for the summer (we went in the winter). A fire pit in the front and back. The house was clean, while a bit worn, it was comfy and suited our group wonderfully.

Our little staff of 7 went on a two day work retreat. The space was perfect for eating and working!

Beautiful space. We enjoyed the ping pong, ĺoved the kitchen, walked, sat in the hot tub and enough space to be in smaller groups for discussions after our guest speaker. We will go back for sure!
