"I should say at the outset that we loved the location which was off the beaten tourist track around 1 hour north of Lisbon. The local beaches around Foz do Arelho are very accessible with a good selection of beachside cafes for lunch or dinner offering great local seafood dishes. Added to that is the proximity to a local indoor go-karting track kept the kids happy - the staff there were fantastic. "The apartment was perfect. 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. Nice pool, beach towels and sun loungers also supplied. Basic supplies in cupboard and fridge to help. Plenty of crockery, glasses, great pots and pans and sharp knives. Unfortunately both corkscrews were broken but bottle opener worked for beers. Walking distance to beach and shops with a good choice of bars, restaurants and cafes. Off road parking for car also useful. Would definitely return. Victor was also very quick and helpful in...
