The room and staff was excellent, the breakfast was sufficient, but the staff went out of their way to make you feel special. i was invited by the owner to his family dinner which was special. Shoodi was particularly helpful.
Really amazing staff especially Shody and Hamoudi and everyone else. They all went above and beyond, and treated me like an actual friend. I will definitely be coming back as I enjoyed staying so so much
The hotel was pretty good and the staff were helpful besides some miscommunication with the breakfast but we spoke with them and got it sorted. The requests we made were not done in a timely manner especially when we were in a rush to get on our tour but it did get done eventually. They were very friendly and helpful though and the view of the pyramids is unmatched!
The Marquis Pyramids Hotel has one undeniable highlight the rooftop view of the Giza Pyramids is genuinely magnificent. Sitting upstairs with a view of the ancient monuments is incredible, and the hotel offers an on-site menu where you can order basic Egyptian food, & coffee while taking in the scenery. front-desk staff were polite enough during initial conversations.
The most unacceptable incident of our stay involved basic room security and hardware. the rooms use old-fashioned physical locks and traditional door knobs. Three days ago, the interior door knob completely broke off, trapping my son inside the room.
We immediately notified staff. Management assured us they would bring in a carpenter right away to repair the lock properly while we went out for the day.
A few hours later, staff claimed the lock had been fully fixed. just 30 minutes after returning to the room, the handle broke once again.
Leaving guests with a faulty lockespecially after an child was already trapped insideis a massive safety hazard and demonstrates cheap, Band-Aid fixes rather than real maintenance. While breakfast is included and served on the rooftop, the food options are extremely monotonous. Every single morning, the exact same items were served without variation. The bed sheets and towels were visibly dirty and stained, showing a complete lack of basic housekeeping standards. The water heater in the room was non-functional, forcing us to deal with cold showers fixed a week later.
This place is loved very much by all the staff and it shows. It doesn’t matter who the guest is. I have seen them always have a friendly face and eager to give VIP experience to everyone. Finding it is fairly easy but the actual location outside comes off as underwhelming and may confuses you if you are looking for it. It’s a small door with an M in the front but once you enter it’s a very beautiful building. The rooms even the cheapest are spacious. There are plenty of places to relax and enjoy different views of the pyramids on the rooftop. Super fast and reliable communication via WhatsApp or the in room phone. I had no issues with internet. This is a perfect place for a family a couple to getaway with the option to enjoy the surrounding areas without breaking the bank. The morning breakfasts vary making it easier to start your relaxing day by the pool gazing at the giant pyramids across the way. Everyone speaks English and are very professional and experienced. I have stayed at many location across Giza and Cairo and this has become my favorite and new go-to hotel. I have already recommended this location for my friend’s for their visit to Egypt later this year when they visit me. You won’t regret your stay here, in fact, you will love it.

Staff were pleasant, and the room was clean though the chair was broken and the tv wasn't working. It took two phone calls followed by two visits to the front desk when no one showed up as promised to fix it after an hour and then even more time after that to get the wifi to work. We were given two hand towels instead of bath towels and no shampoo, with the discovery coming late at night and, with little hope it would be addressed quickly based on the response to the wifi issue, we didn't bother to ask for new ones. The breakfast was okay although no drinks were offered other than tea or coffee. The view of pyramids was very nice, especially at sunset. The rooms are definitely not soundproofed.
