パースからの飛行機が遅れてホテルに到着したのが20時半、21時以後はフロントが閉まるのでその場合の入り方はメールで届いてたので間に合って良かったが。その時点での館内サービスは飲食全て何もナシ。部屋は空調が効き過ぎて寒く、何よりもお湯が出なかったので仕方なく水のシャワーで身体を洗って寒さを我慢してた。エアコンの温度調節も上手くいかずスイッチを切り替えたりしてるうちにエアコンが止まってしまいその後動かなくなった。翌朝には部屋中が湿気でビショビショ、手帳などが濡れて変形していた。にと泊まりたくないホテルです。

ＨＰの写真と全く違い施設は全てが古く、プールにはタバコが浮いていたり衛生面も問題外。しかも浴室には虫も発声。なんといってもエレベーターが使えないのが一番の問題。

値段を考えればとても良い。 朝食のビュッフェも美味しく、外で朝食をとることを考えると圧倒的にリーズナブル。一階に酒屋もある。 難点は立地が空港によっていて、市街へ出るのに悪いところ。ただ、市街中心からタクシーでも10ドル程度でアクセス可能なので、どうしてもということはないだろうか。長期間、レンタカーなしの滞在には厳しいかも知れないが、飛行機遅延による延泊1日分に使用したのには、不便は感じなかったです。

オーシャンビューの部屋、　飛行機撮影
ケアンズ空港に近くタクシー代が約１５ドル、リーフターミナルまでは歩けるが暑いとつらいがタクシー代は約１０ドル。朝焼けがきれいなのでオーシャンビュー側の高層階がベスト。私は５階でしたが、それ以上でないとヤシの木が邪魔。飛行ルートになっているので飛行機好きには最高ですよ　今回６日間滞在しましたが、バスタオルが枚数不足と置き忘れがありましたが、ﾌﾛﾝﾄですぐに対応してくれました。近くにコンビニはありますが２４時間営業ではないので、市内のｽｰﾊﾟｰで買いだめをしてタクシーで帰れば十分対応可能、冷蔵庫もそれなりの大きさがありますが、アイスは無理です。コストパフォーマンスを考えれば最高ですよ。ツアーには送迎付きを頼めば問題ありませんよ

The view from the room was excellent, ammenitiy so far so good,, but "restaurant" was merely a diner. There were fire alarms twice during our stay, which were both error. But we had terrible moments at the hotel, suddenly awakened, terrified, with no specific instructions from the hotel. For this accident, the hotel was devastating.

無難なホテル
寝泊まりするには十分なホテルです。 シティまでは歩いて30分弱。タクシーを利用すればすぐに着きます。 ホテル内はフリーWi-Fiが利用出来ます。但し部屋内では利用出来ませんでした。

コストパフォーマンスが最高。
日本人スタッフはおらず日本語も通じませんが、タクシーも呼んでほしいと頼むと対応してもらえました。英語が話せればタクシー専用の電話があります。シャンプーとコンディショナーがマヌカハニー入りのものでとても良かった。

Had to ask for every little thing. It's hard to put into words but poor customer service overall. Let's just say I was happy I read my reservation details and the hotel room info book they left out or my stay would have been terrible. My view saved the whole stay!! It was incredible. Location not too bad either ;-)

Don't think that because the Acacia Court is on the Esplanade in Cairns it will be in a relatively upmarket tourist area - wrong. It's at the far end of the Esplanade, a really dog-eared property, with unsavoury characters wandering around the car park and lobby area, even during daylight hours. You would think that as each room has a balcony that you would be able to enjoy sitting out on it - but no, they have locked every balcony door in every room (to do with the air con) so that is ruled out. On returning later in the evening after dinner with friends I was propositioned in the car park (I'm 61!!), so although I'm used to unsavoury approaches from a lifetime of travel, it's worth being vigilant if you are travelling/staying there on your own.

We really loved staying at Acacia. Friendly staff, very nice pool area, beautiful view of the beach and walking distance to night life and dining options. All of our excursions picked us up and dropped us off. We booked two extra nights we loved the hotel and area so much!

Updates and new management needed!
Not updated since the late 70s/early 80s. The view, pool and location are great, but it needs updating! Restaurant/bar always closed. Food looks gross! Reception barely speaks English in an English-speaking country. Fire alarm went off around 1am. There's signs all over about not doing anything to trigger fire alarm and if you do, $2000 fine. Reception open 7-9. Pick up keys from safe with late checkin - weird and doesn't seem very safe.

Ganske fin morgenmads buffet. Det er rigtig ærgerligt at der er så begrænsede receptionstider, det gør det svært at få fat i personale og få hjælp eller andet. Vi manglede bla. håndklæder på værelset. Fin plads på værelset og med sengene. Og god havudsigt fra altanen.

No water in fridge and was told we had to pay for water. Room Nd hallway smelt of wet carpet and mould. Bathroom door had to stay closed even if u wanted to spray perfume because if it set smoke alarm off we had to pay over $1000. Staff were not helpful or friendly at all. Helpfull staff, good breakfast, roomservice was good. Rooms are worn out. Dior to bahroom has to be closed to avoid steam in the room, because steam will activate the firealarm. Humidity in bathroom and room is high and in the morning there is dew on the inside of the Windows. Overall the hotel is OK but we will not come back.

2 twice we stay Accacia court the alarm went off very bad very much disappointed, and then since we arrived there’s no remote control the tv were looks everywhere we can’t fined it then I call the service, an hr later bring the remote control and she said remote control always beside the tv but it wast there at all thank you

Only one key provided, door was difficult to unlock, bathroom light switch gave a shock, air conditioning didn’t work properly, couldn’t leave balcony door open because it set off the smoke alarm, room was dated

The staff weren’t particularly friendly to start with. Originally told I couldn’t have a second key to the room. Got one the following day. There were burnt out cars and other wrecks in the tennis court (it was padlocked) and at least once had to exit the building through a group of people yelling and screaming at each other. Another time had clearly intoxicated people asking for access to one of the floors. Overall not particularly comfortable in that environment. Breakfast was included but it seems that communication is not great. The waitress had to go to reception to confirm that breakfast was included. The food was standard hotel fare but the coffee machine was awful. The room was clean but the hot water was not particularly hot at various times. If I go back to Cairns, I won’t stay here unless I can’t find anywhere else suitable.

Only stayed a night , but the hotel isn’t the best. The weird smell throughout the hallways wasn’t great, the cleanliness is very questionable. Was a cheap hotel but would not stay there again
