"The hotel has no onsite front desk. Our room was a 1 bedroom ground floor suite. The unit is dated but in good condition and clean. Oddly it didn’t have hand soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Parking is underground and there is surface street parking. I called the hotel walkable and it is to a point. The beach is 5 minutes down the road whereas the downtown restaurant area is about 20 minutes away. If you’re using Google Maps and taking the shortest route carry a flashlight for the walk...

"Great location close to the old historic city centre and in walking distance to the beach."

"Nice house in quiet mountain village. Close to Sotres and Cares which can be reached by car, local bus, or walking. Host was helpful in providing local information. There is no Wi-Fi in the house, but we were able to join our hosts network, sitting on the bench outside their house a short walk away."

"The location in in the centre of town however double double glazing ensures there is no noise. The apartment is modern with everything you need for your comfort. There is parking nearby. I would recommend these apartments to anyone. "

There were some negatives: a lot of the crockery/cutlery needed re-washing when we arrived, the master bed wasn’t very comfortable and there is no soundproofing in the house whatsoever! "Lovely apartment very close to beautiful beach. Apartment is huge and immaculately clean. Large basement garage with easy parking, very useful as there is limited public parking in the area. Owners very friendly and helpful. Only regret we only stayed one night, as the apartment and this area would be perfect for a longer stay."

"lo mejor la ubicación y limpieza siempre se a dicho que de los errores se aprende y nunca mas alquilare un apartamento si no es al anfitrión personalmente ya que esta empresa solo atienden en horario de oficina, y no son muy rápidos en contestar a las llamadas telefónicas, al llegar tuvimos 2 problemas uno era que salía el agua por debajo del lavabo que avisamos nada mas llegar pero como no estaban al día siguiente por wasap nos dijeron que pusiéramos un cubo debajo y vendrían a solucionarlo y...

"I had a translation problem in beginning but all worked out in end. My wife and I enjoyed our time (I had to work remotely for a couple of days) but mirador del sella was comfortable, quiet and quite a lovely place. The mountain and sea views are magnificent. Would recommend a stay anytime. "

"This property was a monastery. It’s renovated. You can see the details of the building, the manager explained the history of the buildings. That staff are very nice and go beyond to help you in everything. They have great choice for eating, the patio is a wonderful place to have a cup of wine, read, chat or the like. I will recommend this place to my friend and anyone "

Hotel Balneario La Hermida

"This is an excellent property in the Picos de Europa park. The best reason to book this hotel are the hot springs. You get one 40 minute session per night which is very relaxing after a day of hiking. These are natural hot springs flowing from the outside, with many different water massage areas, as well as a sauna, steam room, onsen, whirlpool and cold rinsing pool. They also have along outdoor pool if you want to swim. The second reason is the location. You are between Fuente De and Poncebos. There is no better location to reach each of these in 1 hour, plus Potes, Sotres and Bulnes. Covadonga lakes are another 30 min, but beware private cars cannot go to Covadonga. You need to leave your car at a parking lot and they have taxis to take you the rest of the way. Besides location and hot springs, the hotel is very good, comfortable bed, excellent staff and great breakfast. They don’t have a coffee/tea kettle in the room. You need to buy that at the bar, but the waiter brought it all the way to my room. I would only say that they need to completely renovate the bathrooms, they are very old"
