The kitchen lacked some cooking utensils (notably a spatula and cutting board) making it awkward to cook, but otherwise had everything you need. "The house is large with 4 big rooms and wonderful open plan kitchen diner. The view is spectacular and very relaxing. We were close to shops and sightseeing places like Sarlat, Rocamadour etc. As it was hot, it was lovely to have the pool to cool off. All in all a fantastic place. "

"We enjoyed our stay here.There was everything we needed.There were a couple of areas that required attention, but that didn't spoil our stay. The steps to the bedroom area are quite steep. The entrance to the pool area could do with a little maintenance. The owners provide a coffee maker, but you don't know what pods to buy until you arrive. The only way to boil waterwas on the stove, so a kettle would have been useful to make a cup of tea, or chocolate."

Un peu à l'écart du château, c'est une place très romantique avec de belles perspectives sur l'étang et les pelouses arborées. Comme il se situe dans l'enceinte du parc, c'est très calme et, de plus, la maison est grande et bien aménagée. L'équipe est très serviable et vous donne le sentiment d'être invité. A noter que l'endroit est encore mieux que l'impression donnée par les photos. Au total d'excellentes vacances."

"Montcuq is such a pretty place and this is a lovely house to stay in. The house is just a few minutes walk to a fantastic boulangerie and you can wander to restaurants and cafes and watch the world go by, all without having to drive. The house is spacious and nicely decorated, with everything you can think of for a great stay. It has a massive garden and outbuildings, so perfedt for a family. We will return, but with the whole family, as there's so many areas to relax in. A real find."
