"There was a room description error on Expedia's website, which the hotel staff were very quick to resolve at their own expense in a very professional manner. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and rooms were generously sized. Lovely breakfast. Would definitely stay again. "

"As ever the reception staff at Annadale Water were outstanding (Especially Helen & Lisa). We had a difficult trip due to the car breaking down at the hotel and they were both accommodating and helpful. Ensuring the trauma of the event was not added to by pushy staff wanting us to vacate the room. The lake behind is just a fantastic addition to the stay here , giving you somewhere so much nicer to walk the dogs than around the car park. We actually look forward to our stays here, and will be back. "

"FOR THOSE WHO THINK THEY CANT SPELL HEART PROPERLY IN DUMFRIES LET ME INFORM YOU HART IS A DEER OR STAG. AND ACTUALLY NOT AN ORGAN IN THE HUMAN BODY OBVIOUSLY LOL. SUSAN THE OWNER TOLD ME AS I FINISHED MY FULL SCOTTISH BREAKFAST HAGGIS INCLUDED LOL. HAD A 1 NIGHT STAY FOR WORK AND COULD NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING REALLY. VERY ATTENTIVE STAFF. CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. STAROPRAMEN ON TAP (MY FAVOURITE) AND GOOD SELECTION OF WHISKEY. LOTS OF TAKE AWAY RESTAURANTS AND PUBS CLOSE BY."
