The leather was very worn on the sofa and there were stains on the throws. However, the property is beautiful, the staff was more than helpful, kind and accommodating and the food was fantastic. "Can't beat the location right in the beach Hotel Brasilito is at the centre of it all. Good restaurant with amazing ambience -beach view and live music - attached. I would call this more of a hostel than a hotel though because accomodations are rustic. Down sides were that there is no safe for valuables, windows don't lock in ground level rooms which can raise safety concerns for some, very limited parking and no water bottle fill station was an inconvenience. Also the ceiling fan looked so dodgy once turned on we decided against using it. Overall though a great little spot and we would go back."

"What a fabulous time we had staying here! The location is absolutely perfect, within about an hour to Liberia airport in good traffic, 2 hours to Tenorio National park, super close proximity to Brasilito and Flamingo. The amenities are amazing - the beach club and access to the W hotel. It is a safe, pristine locale with ample to do and Howler Monkeys to boot! The Concierge service provided by Essence Conchal was amazing. They took care of everything! I highly recommend!"

"We loved our stay and the place grew on us. Rooms could use a place for cloths and suitcase as they aren’t big and a coffee pot. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and a small market but it doesn’t have fresh fruit or veggies and limited for lunch or breakfast items. Loved how staff booked tours which were very small. "
