Great value
Great property, comfortable, well located and excellent value. Was a little surprised to learn on arrival of the permanent resident in the self contained unit on property. Not mentioned in listing. However the resident is a true gentleman and didn’t impact our stay at all. Barely noticed they were there. Planning to stay here again in our next trip.

Large home, room for all
Lovely large home with space for all the teens and adults. Unfortunately the property has not had a decent clean for a long time! It was tidy but unkempt with a lot of cobwebs/dead insects, kitchen items all needing cleaning prior to use, bins not being emptied by the cleaner……basically the cleaning needed addressing (esp as it was part of the hire). We fed back to the owner who was very responsive and apologetic so going forward I assume all will be good. Overall a nice spot, great views and plenty of room for all.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this property for 7 nights, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. I wanted to take a moment to write this positive review to express my gratitude and recommend this place to fellow travellers. First and foremost, the communication with the host was top-notch. From the initial inquiry to the booking process, the host responded promptly and provided all the necessary information to make our check-in seamless. The accommodation itself was huge. It was evident that the host had put considerable effort into creating comfortable holiday accommodation. The amenities provided were excellent. 7 Adults stayed comfortably & the view is stunning. The location of the property was also ideal. It is situated in a safe quite neighborhood, close to state highway, and a short drive to shops, eateries and beaches. It made getting around a breeze, and we appreciated the convenience it offered. Would happily recommend & return. Also must mention the cost is reasonable compared to others.

Beautiful
The house is beautiful with stunning views and short drives to the beach fronts! Its nice and warm even during the cold winter nights. The house was immaculate (Although Bbq wasn't clean so we didnt end up using it) There was plenty of room for all 8 of us without everyone being in eachothers faces the whole time. Would 100% book again next time we're wanting to stay up north again!

Family gathering
This house was perfect. Much bigger and even more space than the photos. We were three generations and have all had the most relaxing time ever. Walking to the beach, enjoying the bowls club 2 minutes drive away and love the views. Would definitely book again. Thank you.

Great base to explore the Far North
Large family home with plenty of spaces for everyone to relax. Wide views of Doubtless Bay and just a few minutes drive to beach and shops at Coopers Beach and Mangonui. Well furnished like a family home. Good mobile reception but wifi only works downstairs. Would be good to have a few more utensils, glasses, salt and pepper etc. but otherwise a really great place to stay. We would definitely come back.

Loved staying at this property. The most beautiful views of the ocean, close to beaches that were safe for kids to swim. The house is spacious with big bedrooms. We also enjoyed playing downstairs in the games room pool and darts. Will definitely come back again.

Listing says it all! Lovely property with amazing views of the bay. Easily slept 5 adults and great kitchen and outdoor area for dining. Would stay here again when we return to Coopers Beach. Nigel is a great host!

Amazing place
We absolutely loved it, such a huge beautiful home that catered for all our needs, while on holiday. Even when hosting My daughter’s tribe for dinners, who stayed in a home over Coopers Bay. In all honest they could of fitted here too but love there own space, I suppose lol Beautiful cool sea breeze when needed, recommend to all.

We loved this place! Epic views and so much space for two families - there are two lounges, a games room, two decks, a big double garage and great bedrooms. Amazing value and Nigel is a great host.

Spectacular views
A beautiful well presented family home in a quiet street very handy to shops. Spacious modern kitchen is ideal for a large family or small group. Great having to sunny deck for meals. The owner Nigel was very considerate and helpful. Sky TV was a luxury. Would love to return at a later date ☺️

Great insight, tidy and comfortable property. The only problem is the WIFI which could not be used in the upstairs which bedrooms, living rooms and kitchen are. We had to go down basement and use WIFI.

Absolute holiday!!
This place is huge! The outlook on a hill overlooking the bays of taipa and Cooper's beach is so beautiful. You could spend the day in the deck just watching the day go by but with the beautiful Northland beaches and bays and being within a day trip to Cape reinga or bay of Islands, adventure is never too far away. Kitted out with a full kitchen with fridge with ice maker and filtered water, you won't lack for cooking. A BBQ on a second covered deck. A pool table and darts. Everything wash very clean. The dishwasher had a bit of leftovers in the filter and I choose to use the sink instead but that would be a minor spot on an otherwise spotless stay. There are two lounges a bathroom with deep luxurious bath and ensuite bathroom in to he main room. There's a third toilet downstairs in the garage by the games room. This is absolute value and the best I've stayed in bookabach. Will definitely be back for more!! Oh yeah and we took our pet for an additional $10 or $20. You can't beat this place for Northland bliss. Glenn and family.

Super family vacation spot
