"We stayed in the Garden unit for 9 days in mid July. The property is beautiful and Alessandro and his family are wonderful people and great hosts. They were very accommodating to our family by amending the pool hours. The property is perfectly situated to see many great areas around Bologna and all are within about an hours’ drive. "We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family."

"The property had a beautiful country setting. It reminded me of an old farmhouse. The outside entertainment area was great. Unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy it due to the mosquitoes. The property owner supplied us with citronella candles but the bugs won! There isn’t any air conditioning including the bedrooms. It was quite war despite the ceiling fans and we couldn’t leave the windows open because of the bugs. It was a nice retreat after being in the busy city of Bologna."

"Path to property has nice plantings that were blooming. We were greeted by hosts as soon as taxi arrived, showed where things were, and given lots of tourist information. They could not have been any more friendly and helpful. They live across the hall on the same floor and were always available for our questions. Kitchen is fully equipped. "They said there was wifi and there wasn’t. The fridge did not work. The picture showing the beautiful garden actually belonged to the person who lived next to the studio.
