"We recently stayed here in Coron and it did not disappoint. The host was very welcoming and great with his communication and even would check on us to make sure everything was ok and to see if we needed anything. I had all the basic necessities we needed and what I enjoyed the most is how peaceful it is in the area. "First off , the staff.. so so amazing. I had gotten food poisoning from a tour I did, and they were so helpful keeping me hydrated and had tablets to let me enjoy my vacation. The food options were great, many options. This can just be your stay without ever visiting town. The view was jaw dropping everyday. Aircon was strong , even had to turn it off it got so cold. Room was well kept , and no issues with mosquitos unless you kept door open. Cons might be the cost of getting into town, cost 2.5k per way. So plan for that cost as fuel prices are taking a toll on transport. Also there is a 22 percent tax on all food, but the prices of food are cheap enough that you don’t notice. The complaints I see online don’t seem fair. They are very misguided. This is a five star stay. They have great activities , and amazing amazing spa. Only $15 for the top massage for 2 hours and scrub. I will stay here again, only difference is I’ll rent a car as you are hour outside of coron town."

The staff's commitment to guest satisfaction without the aggressive commercial tactics found elsewhere was perhaps the most pleasant surprise. For couples seeking a romantic getaway, families looking for a safe, activity-rich destination, or anyone who simply wants to disconnect from the stresses of daily life and reconnect with nature and loved ones, La Estancia is an ideal choice. Just come prepared to embrace the seclusion—that's part of what makes this resort so special. We left La Estancia feeling refreshed, appreciated, and already planning our return visit. In a world where genuine hospitality is increasingly rare, this resort stands as a shining example of how things should be done. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic, peaceful, and thoroughly enjoyable Philippine island experience."

"PROS: ULTRA secluded, most quiet location by the ocean that you might ever find, with a very chill vibe. Half mile long white fine sandy beach, which often you will have all to yourself due to the closure/ bankruptcy of the neighboring resort. The locals in this region are very friendly, and will actually acknowledge and smile to tourists. Hot water and A/C are available. Good road around the island, but some steep hills. Our tricycle with luggage did not make one of them. The ladies/ hostesses are super charming and try very hard to meet all of your needs. CONS: No Red Horse beer. Ultra secluded. If you don't have a vehicle, you are at the mercy of the host for food and food prices. While the hostesses try their very best, they are understaffed, lack training and leadership. Food was mediocre. They need a true chef on staff that is willing to multi-task. Road signage is mediocre. The facilities are aged, in need of maintenance, past its best before date. Hot water and pressure for showering must be requested each time. This resort has enormous potential, but is passed due for new management, with the energy and drive to take this resort to its full potential. A percentage of profits, if any, needs to be reinvested each month on repairs and maintenance. OVERALL: If you are looking for the ultimate in quiet and seclusion, with just basic facilities, this might be your place. Bring food/ snacks/ drinks. If you are looking for luxurious and fine cuisine, this might not be for yo"

"Beautiful property with fresh clean rooms. The place is immaculate, and the staff is super accommodating. They arranged several island tours and daily excursions, the sunset one being spectacular. The upstairs restaurant prepared delicious evening meal with a wide variety of Japanese and Asian food. The only drawback was the rooster farm next to the property. They can be annoying."

"We loved our stay here. Peter, Bianca and all their staff are fabulous. They have arranged boat tours, room service, early breakfast delivery and packed lunch, and transportation from and to the airport for us. The food in their little restaurant was awesome as well. The place is away from the hustle and bustle of Coron town but still had easy access to all beautiful islands, snorkeling places and sandy beaches. I highly recommend this place!"
