"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at Exalco and honestly don’t understand some of the negative reviews I read before coming here. "The staff at the front desk I believe her name is Sara (red head) is amazing! She is very helpful and attentive and wears a smile all day. The hotel is on the 4th floor but there is an elevator from the parking lot however you do go down into a dark basement to work your way up. The parking attendants were so kind, helpful, friendly and honestly just wonderful. He helped us take our bags up. There is also a different entrance but not sure how to get there we tried to take the stairs down the back way and got completely lost we had to come back up so stick to the elevator. Its a strange set up. The view from the open rooftop is wonderful overlooking the pedestrian walk and the Mosque. When you enter it will feel hot, but that is because the terrace is completely open but the rooms have AC. The room was enough for my son and I. I have to say I stayed at a beautiful Marriott in Tirana but the pillows at Hotel Chicago were the BEST!!!! I like how firm the bed is too. The room was spacious and even had a jacuzzi that we did not use, but amazing that they fit a jacuzzi in there. For a one night stay it worked out just fine. I would stay here again. The breakfast was decent, but I enjoyed the egg whites and sausage more. The COFFEE omg the Cappuccino was SO DAMN Good, I can't stop thinking about it. Overall, great hotel in Shkroder, great location. What a beautiful city if you can stay longer than one night I would!"
