Somehow, there was a double booking, probably due to some mistake on the booking website, and I was asked to pay double. It took a long time to talk it through, and after bringing the upper-level staff in, I was told I don’t have to pay double. I just had to pay for the room we will stay in. I don’t know if they felt bad about it, but they upgraded our room for free to a suite. That part was so nice of them. But talking with the staff for over an hour was tiring and challenging.
