Uitzicht op de molen van het dorp waar een hotel/restaurant met terras, en een kleine buurtsuper zijn gevestigd. Er is een klein haventje. Een bezoek aan het Ruurd Wiersma museum is een aanrader. Mooi gebied om te fietsen"

"Ein sehr schöner und besonderer Ort. Wer die Einsamkeit mag und aushält, ist hier genau richtig. Eine gepflegte Wasservilla , schön eingerichtet ud mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Auch , wenn es einsam ist, kann man von hier aus mit dem Boot die Landschaft erkunden und geniessen. Leeuwarden und Sneek sind nicht weit. Mit dem Boot allerdings doch schon Tagesausflüge. Wir waren jetzt bereits 2x dort und kommen sicherlich gerne wieder."

"Wir (2 Erwachsene & 4 Kinder) waren zum ersten Mal an diesem Urlaubsort. Bei der Ankunft verlief alles reibungslos. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht über die Unterkunft. Alles war sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wunderbar war auch, das man direkt vor der Tür einen schönen Spielplatz hatte. Der kleine Supermarkt hat auch alles da, wenn man mal etwas vergessen hat. Die Anscheinende Karte für Bus und Bahn wo anscheinend beim Schlüssel ist, war nicht vorhanden!
