"This was such a great little hotel. It was out of the way, but right in town at the same time. The lobby and dining area (only open for the complimentary breakfast) reminded me of an old English manor. The breakfast was great, scrambled eggs, home potatoes, and crisp bacon, along with the other regular continental items. We walked out the back door from the second floor right onto a super cute Main Street. This place was just a great little treasure. We loved it!"

"Check-in was easy and staff were inviting. The staff member at breakfast works endlessly to make the breakfast area clean, served hot and always smiling. I witnessed her accommodating a special need/request. "

"This is the second time we have stayed in the house. The location and layout are amazing. We were there for all star village and it is only 5 minutes away from the fields, which was helpful to go back and forth and not feel tied to stay at the fields.The pool size is amazing and great for the kids. If it rains, you can have fun inside at the pool. Unfortunately our stay had no heat in the pool and hot tub did not work.The place is old and has the same set up from three years ago. General areas are set up well but basement and office had really high temperatures because of air flow. A few of the rooms had odor from the bathrooms and some of the beds are pretty old. A fix up would be great to make this place as good as its location and set up.The deck and back yard is a great space. Cookouts or smores with the fire pit can be done at night.Owner was responsive and helpful. The place is just old and has character so had to deal with it throughout the stay."

"Absolutely wonderful home and hosts! Warm hospitality. Perfectly clean and cozy home. Comfortable for the traveling grandparents and fun in the basement and yard for the kids. Would give 50 star rating if I could. Hope to have the opportunity to stay here again."
