「For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us.」

「This was the adventure we were hoping for! We visited with our teens (14 and 16). It is such a beautiful location and we really enjoyed seeing wildlife up close! We saw agouti, river otters, howler monkeys, bats, toucans, and several other beautiful birds during our stay. The rope swing and being able to get in the river was very nice.
