Absolutely incredible Short Term Rental. The cabin sits in the middle of a ponderosa pine tree grove. Beautiful front porch to enjoy viewing all the birds and wildlife. Quick drive to Vail or Breckenridge (1.5 hrs).

Buena Vista is situated between the Collegiate Peaks and the Arkansas River and is known for its laid-back, mountain town vibe. A friendly and welcoming community filled with opportunities for adventure.

This was a great vacation our family spent near the town of Buena Vista. We stayed at this cabin in the woods, which was conveniently located near the town. The house was very well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, there were towels available for our use in the hot tub, the hot tub was actually hot, etc / I could go on. Additionally, the cabin is located in the woods and daily we had herds of deer walking within feet of the house - and on top of that the meadow you drive by getting to the house regularly had hundreds of deer, elk, and pronghorn - just amazing watching all the wildlife. But above everything else, it was obvious how much the host cared that we had a positive experience. Any time I had a question they immediately responded and went over the top in reaching out pro-actively to see how our stay was going. If we ever venture back to the area, we will definitely be staying at this cabin. Honestly can't understand there isn't anything but great reviews for this place, 100% recommended.

I had an enjoyable stay at this cabin near Buena Vista, which is nestled in a beautiful, nature-filled neighborhood. The location is perfect for spotting local wildlife, and the cabin is well-equipped with all the essentials, including dishes, cups, and kitchen appliances. The check-in process was seamless, with just a simple code required to access the property.However, our experience was marred by significant heating issues. We lost hot water for almost an entire day, which disrupted our plans in the area. Unfortunately, the property manager chose to bring in a plumber to conduct some repairs during our stay (very unprofessional), which inadvertently caused heating problems as the boiler stopped working. This became evident later in the evening, and while the issue was reported and eventually resolved the following day, it took several hours to fix.I was disappointed that these repairs weren’t postponed until after our stay, as the disruptions could have been avoided. Even after the repairs, the heating system remained inadequate. Despite setting the heat to the maximum level, the house was still chilly, and we had to rely on the fireplace to keep warm in the living room for the final two days. While the fireplace added some charm, it was more of a decorative feature and not sufficient to heat the cabin or provide the cozy atmosphere we had hoped for.
