We traveled and camped in both the Smokey's and Shenandoah National Parks. Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park is at the ridge with many amazing vistas. Camping in the National Parks on 100 Anniversary of the creation of the National Parks was very exciting. We met a lot of great people as well as exchanged stories about out travels and volunteering in the NP.

"Room was clean and large. Hotel is very quaint and great atmosphere. Wonderfully easy and nice breakfast. Charming building. The bed was not that comfortable but sometimes that’s a personal preference…. The location downtown is fabulous and there is a balcony restaurant that’s a must. Personnel very nice and rooms are reasonably priced. "
