Beautiful house in great location
The house had everything we needed to cook and relax, lots of space, beautiful big garden , fantastic location just across the beach , very quiet . Budgewoi hotel has great food and its just a few minutes walk 😊 Host is very helpful, easy communication .. thank you & We’ll be back !

Very relaxing with great dog beaches close by
Very happy and relaxed are we and our boxer dog after our mini break. House and garden just the job!! Walk to dog beach, then rest, then walk to the lovely new Budgewoi hotel for dinner. Thanks we’ll be back.

EXCELLENT
This was our first Stayz holiday and definitely not our last if this experience can be repeated. Out the front door, turn right, walk 50 metres, turn left, walk the path over the dune and there you are on the beach. This property is excellent for our needs. Our 4Kg Toy Poodle absolutely loved the yard, plenty to explore and totally safe. Only one problem, we should have stayed longer. Thanks Philip.

Shhhh....can you keep a secret?
Fabulous!! It is what you would expect of a beach house - and then some (clean; aircon; ceiling fans; perfect sunroom for art; quiet; not too big - not too small and just a skip to the beach). We had our pooch with us and the secure yard was such a blessing! Phil - thank you!

Perfect Place to Relax!
The house is very well presented with a functional floor plan that maintains privacy for the bedrooms and also includes two bathrooms. The kitchen is modern and had everything we needed. The backyard is a masterpiece! The landscaped gardens make you feel relaxed as soon as you see them, plus it’s a quiet location and you can walk to the beach!

Easy access to beautiful beach
We enjoyed our stay. The easy access to the beach was what we were looking for and it was as described. The house was clean and cozy. We enjoyed cooking on the outdoor grill. Apparently I had not read the description close enough as it was a shocker to arrive and see no sheets on the beds. There was only one garbage in the whole place, which was in the kitchen. There were no garbages in the bathrooms which is really inconvenient. There are also no closets or anywhere to hang clothes or coats.

Great dog friendly cottage
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and tidy with everything you need for a great stay. The dogs enjoyed their morning and afternoon walks along the beach and the backyard is a great size too. The only thing I’d say to people with young kids is that the beach is a little rough for swimming, but it gave us an excuse to explore other beaches- caves beach was amazing!

excellent location ,great information from Philip
easy walk to beach, restaurants and the pub. Pub has new owners, food was very good, a number of small issues. poor quality pillows to hard. A more of a safety issue, No smoke detectors in the property. No information of location of fire extinguisher. internal Lighting should be changed to LED and this would provide much brighter lighting internally. External front door light did not work. TV could be larger. washers in the shower in the second bathroom need replacing . Add soap and shampoo racks(holders) in the showers and a toilet roll holder in the second bathroom. Blind is broken in the second bedroom. Get Gayle(the cleaner) to provide the linen we would stay at the property again.

Girls’ Weekend Away

All you need for a great city break
We had a really good time at Philip’s house. The description and reviews are very accurate. The house is small but the backyard is amazing, we spent most of our time outdoors. If you are into cooking you might find the kitchen a bit small. It has all the essentials anyway just a bit tight for a few people. The dog friendly beach is 1min walk and our two little dogs loved it as well as the house. We’ll come back for sure.

Always a pleasure - our third trip
This was our third time staying at this property and it was fantastic as ever. Phillip is a communicative and helpful host. Our only misgiving on previous trips had been the (uncomfy)beds, so the new three beds were perfect! The garden was lovely with even a herb garden to use. Each trip we discover new local places of interest; this time it was snorkelling at Towoon Bay and visiting the pink Caves at Catherine Hill Bay. Our dog loved the dog friendly beach opposite the house.So much to do locally, but so many nooks and crannies in the house and garden to sit and enjoy the serenity when that’s what you are after. At times this holiday there were 7 of us, but the house never feels overcrowded. Very highly recommended!

Great location and great house
We've been very happy to stay for a few days at Philip's place to chill in the garden and enjoy the very nearby dog's friendly beach. We found the house very welcoming and clean. Communication was easy and everything went very well. We hope we'll be back another time.

Lovely week of complete tranquilaty
A lovely bright, airy and relaxing cottage by the sea. Perfectly outfitted, with a garden that made our stay! It was so relaxing sitting in a deckchair under the trees, with the only able to hear the cicadas and the ocean waves. We will be back for sure!

Beautifully appointed with all conveniences for a beach holiday. Multiple sitting spaces allow people to spread out or be togther as they please. Ideally suited close to the beach with swiming- flag designated beach within walking distance (along beach) or short drive away. Lovely area to walk around.

Budgewoi Beachhouse Bliss
It was so lovely to return here for a whole two weeks. We had such a great time with adult kids and partners coming and going. We had a few rainy days with a full house but the house is so comfy, with so many comfy places to chill, we never felt on top of each other. The house is so well equipped and Philip is such an obliging and helpful host. The beach opposite is patrolled in the summer hols which was great and nearby Norah Heads, Soldiers Point (great for the teenagers)and Catherine Hill Bay were great with some dog friendly beaches and everything; surfing, rock pools. Thai takeaway, local pub and local pizzeria all came up trumps. Fantastic. Thanks Philip
