Overall, the location is great and the hotel is very nice. The rooftop is the best in Venice. Hotel Erwin is the best hotel in Venice. The problem which is totally unacceptable is that the fire alarm went off the first morning at 6 am and again the 2nd night at 2 am and both were false alarms. They were ear piercing ways to wake up. Went on for at least 15-20 minutes. Needless to say, I will never be staying at Hotel Erwin again. I felt like I was back at my freshman dorm in college.
