Just 5 miles away from historic Bryson City where you will find the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, an authentic locomotive train that has daily runs through the beautiful Nantahala Gorge with half and full day trips available with lunch or dinner. Also just up the road is the Nantahala Outdoor Center where you and your group can enjoy the thrill of river rafting trips down the Nantahala River.

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

Great views of the mountains!

Clean with plenty of room. The road up was very steep but doable. The views were beautiful. Hot tub was great. The lower level was a little musty smelling. Overall a great place to stay.

The cabin was cozy and had beautiful mountain views from every window. It has a great fireplace, very comfortable beds, and a lot children’s books and movies and games for the whole family. , the cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. My only recommendation would be

Reviewer Comments: we arrived at the cabin with detail instructions on how to locate.the inside of the cabin was very clean,with one exception. if standing in the loft you can see dead bugs on the windowsill of the living room windows. The direct TV did not work the first night,but we did call for help and it was quickly resolved.Our biggest disappointment was the back porch. the hot tub had rust in it and the chemicals were not a result,unfortunately did not get to use.the back porch needs some TLC.There is mold everywhere and very little seating. the deck needs a lot of work same withe the deck down stairs also.the picnic table has seen better days and needs a good cleaning.the hot tub and back porch were one of the enticing parts of renting this house,as we were looking forward to using this space and enjoying the view from outside. however,we were unable to utilize that space at all.the view is now mostly obscured by growth of the trees and the underbrush has all but taken over the side of the house where the steps are located. the inside of the house was a 4/5, but the back decks/hot tub was a 1/5

They just took down several trees to be able to see the mountains however 5-6 more should have been taken down. The inside was fine but on the main level the master bedroom had a full size bed and no furniture to unpack in. The outside porch and deck needs to be pressure washed (black moldy stuff everywhere) and the framing around all the windows and doors desperately need repainting.

Beautiful views!

We loved the property overall! The house was spacious with many amenities. The views were amazing, and the location was very private and quiet. The house was well equipped. Just a couple of notes -- we did have a problem with ants in the kitchen, and there were a couple of maintenance items (knob off drawer in bedroom; breaker in upstairs bathroom; soap dispensers not filled;) But otherwise, it was a great place!

Mountain trip summer vacation

The Property was very clean. The pool table is repaired and hot tub was awesome. The only downfall personally was the obstructed long range views. Really great location from everything.

Nice location and nice cabin. We found trash in one of the bedrooms. We found beer cans around the jacuzzi. The grass around the fire pit and the cabin was over grown. The property needs some TLC.

Perfect Getaway

The cabin was perfect. It was very clean and cozy. We arrived late at night and it was very cold outside so it took a long time to get the place heated up because they keep the temperature at 55 in the winter. Other than that we enjoyed our stay very much . It’s close enough to town even though we were at the top of a winding road. Instructions were perfect on how to get there .
