"We chose this hotel because it was quirky and something a bit different. Literally a couple of minutes walk from Grand Place. Plenty of restaurants close by. In the street where the hotel is there are Greek and Italian restaurants aplenty. Central station is very close. The lift is super tiny and can just fit two people with minimal luggage. There are a lot of rooms off multiple hallways but there are direction signs. The lower budget rooms are small, we decided on a twin as it seemed a little bigger. Our beds were comfortable although the metal bed heads seemed to be unattached and rocked back and forwards noisily against the wall. Fixed by putting a towel behind it. We had space for luggage, WiFi good and water hot. Lighting is not great and there is no air conditioning. Even in October we were very warm. You can open a window and there was a fan in the room. The whole place is very colourful, tiles are beautiful and there is bric a brac everywhere adding to its charm. We had breakfast on one morning. It is basic, juice, a roll and a croissant, slice of cheese plus tea or coffee. Okay for the price and enough to get you started for the day. The owner is very friendly and made us welcome. We stayed 4 nights and would stay again but maybe in a higher price room. The fact it is very convenient to everything makes it worth it."
