Ganz tolles Zimmer in einem ungewöhnlichen Hotel

Es handelt sich um das ehemalige Postamt des Dorfes Brummen. Ganz toll und mit viel Herzblut eingerichtet und persönlich geführt. Wir bekamen ein tolles Frühstück und genoßen unseren Aufenthalt. Wir kommen sicher wieder! Für Autofreunde findet sich ganz in der Nähe die Gallerie Aldering, einer der exklusivsten und besten Händler für Sportwagen und Klassiker!

Small is beautiful

We verbleven hier kort, omdat we slechts één nachtje accomodatie in de buurt van Zutphen nodig hadden. We hadden leuk en persoonlijk contact met de eigenaar. We genoten van de alleraardigste ‘postale reliquien’ in de hal. Het ontbijt was smakelijk en goed verzorgd; het buffetje werd steeds alert aangevuld en alles was mooi vers. Het is de eigenaren aardig gelukt om van een doelmatig bedrijfsgebouw iets gemoedelijks te maken. Waarbij ons wel opviel dat de (met mooi oud hout belegde) vloeren en de (plastic) plinten niet al te professioneel waren aangebracht. Verder is een onverwarmde doucheruimte wel wat spartaans. Ook de tijden zijn even wennen: late incheck, vroege uitcheck en een vast ontbijtuur. Gasten moeten deze voor een hotel ongebruikelijke beperkingen vooraf wel even op zich laten inwerken, om teleurstelling te voorkomen.

Die Lage des Hotels war sehr zentral. Das Zimmer/Hotel war sehr sauber und das Inhaberehepaar war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig.

A very good hotel in a very good location

We stayed two nights in a ground floor bedroom in this very nice and spotlessly clean hotel. We were given an explanation of the previous functions of the rooms downstairs by the friendly and very helpful owner. Our room was nice and the bed comfortable. The shower was nice and strong. The bathtowels were quite small, but in Holland they often only use small size bathtowels. Breakfast was excellent especially the fresh breads, with plenty of choice, and we liked the classical music playing in the beautiful dining room. We would happily stay here again.

prima verblijf in aparte omgeving (verbouwd oud postkantoor met bewaarde elementen) aan betrekkelijk rustige dorpsstraat, enkel minpuntje iets overlopende douche drempel en extra lichtpunt om te lezen zou geen kwaad kunnen,sober maar voldoende comfort, uitstekend ontbijt

Erg prettig verblijf

Zeer prettig verblijf gehad. Goede en heel vriendelijke service. Goede en fijne tips gekregen over mogelijkheden in de omgeving. Lekker uitgebreid ontbijt met onder andere gebruik van lokale producten.
