"The hotel was under renovations when we arrived so restaurant not open. Also the doors to each hotel room were very noisy and slammed each time open and closed. We were also keep up each night from other hotel guests screaming until 4am. Not a restful sleep. Very disappointing."

"The staff was great, we came in from out town for a wedding and were able to get in our room early to rest before the busy evening ahead of us. The breakfast buffet was great, fully stocked and lots of a variety of items. Our room was clean and bed was super comfortable. "

"During our stay, we had marijuana pumping through the vent into our room. This was super disturbing and really strong. I went to the front desk and they were spraying febreeze in the air on their floor to neutralize the smell. It was so bad on our floor. They gave me febreeze to spray in our room and said I’m over it. Take it! It continued to smell in our hallway the following day. Nothing was done to compensate for this horrible experience!"

"The room we got had torn carpet and we moved rooms and the same problem plus the toilet didn’t work, the lounge and outside patio were all closed plus the we didn’t get breakfast"

"We had a problem with the heat working it would heat room then switch to ac and never heat again. Not much hot food for breakfast so we skipped that"

"I am in a wheelchair, and as such, my only complaint is the odd set up for persons with disabilities to enter. One must wheel down past the actual front doors, which are stair assessable only, then enter a bit of covered area (which was by far the only real dirty and/or broken down looking space), then ride the elevator up and enter on the other side of the main foyer from the front desk. It wasn't such a big deal that I wouldn't stay again, but it was quite an annoyance. I believe a ramp renovated into the side of the stairs would be a really good investment, as for handicapped persons, this would seem to be the only truly bad notation on the building. With that said, the room was very clean and cozy, and the couple staff members I had dealings with were amazingly nice. My son and I were in Michigan for a college graduation, and I am disabled with very little income. At the price point on this room.,however, was quite a good deal. I would like to thank the staff for being a part of our wonderful weekend in Grand Rapids, particularly the women who checked us in and out. They were both quite helpful and quite kind."

"Easy access parking. Fabulous grocery store across the street for anything you need. "

"The property was convenient for our purposes and the room was very good. Downsides are the $18/day parking fee and the odoriferous parking lot stairwells."
