"We had a good and fun get away overnight. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. NIce bar and restaurant (good food), really enjoyed the atmosphere. The only positive feedback we would give is regarding the use of the jacuzzi requiring one pound for 9 minutes of use and the check out at 10:00h am is far too early, this particularly I did not like. Overall a good stay and recommended!!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed stay with the staff totally committed to you. One issue that people with mobility issues should be aware of is that they have rooms up 2/3flights of stairs in a spiral configuration (although carpeted), and they should ensure when booking that they are not allocated these 3/4 rooms. (once up there the view the harbour is superb!!) Rooms clean and checked if you require every day, and the food excellent. The free coffee and cake to guests every afternoon was an added bonus. Would recommend it."

"Highly recommended. Good choice of food at a reasonable price. Bedroom was a good size. Modern looking hotel, being well decorated and pleasing to look at. The only downside was the bathroom in our room 3 smell of sewerage. It was reported to the staff and I am sure can be fixed. It would not stop me going again."

"Stayed at The Feathers for four nights. It's history is very interesting. The room was clean with tea, coffee etc. The bed so comfortable I could have stayed in it all day. Housekeeping excellent. The staff friendly, helpful and work very hard. Cannot fault them. Food superb, fresh, locally sourced and plenty of it. Breakfast included and free parking. Great location to wander the short walk to the middle of town and the harbour or just sit outside. As an elderly lady on her own I was very well looked after."
