Runnin' Moon -Hot Tub, Sleeps 12, Pet Friendly, FREE Firewood!

Named for an Indian Maiden in an old Western movie, Runnin' Moon is a new, spacious cabin in the Lakewood Estates development just across the highway from the entrance to Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park. This 2,200 sq ft cabin sleeps 12 in beds and features an open floor plan with plenty of room for your entire family. There are also two large couches in the living area for extra guests. The living area is open to the spacious kitchen and dining area. The focal point of the family room is the gorgeous,2-story rock gas-log fire place. The cabin is furnished with real log furniture made by a local artisan. The master suite features a king bed and a private bathroom with both a shower and a large soaking tub. The second downstairs king suite has a combination tub/shower unit and the third queen bedroom has a full tub/shower bath adjacent to the bedroom. The family room also has a queen sleeper sofa for extra guests. Upstairs in the loft you can enjoy an evening of game time with the foosball table and a large shuffleboard. An additional full bath is located in the loft for guests. The kids will also enjoy the PS4 gaming system in the loft. And, kids or adults can get a great night's sleep in the double queen bunks. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to prepare a wonderful meal with friends and family. The dining area and kitchen bar provide seating for more than 10 people to enjoy a family meal. After a day exploring all the nearby attractions, you and your friends can relax in the 6-person Hot Tub on the covered back porch. Then, enjoy the outside fire ring with firewood provided an challenge your friends to a game of horseshoes. The front and back decks are both covered providing plenty of space to enjoy the towering pines surrounding the cabin.

Fun times with the besties

Our group of 3 families all had a wonderful time at the cabin. It’s just perfect! It shows well and has everything that you could possibly need for a short weekend get away!! The management team was awesome and responsive! They even gave us extended check out, due to late check in from one of the group. It’s surrounding is so beautiful and calming. We would comeback again!

Quiet and well-appointed

Great cabin for a friends getaway. The cabin is spacious, and has all the amenities you could want for a weekend away. We enjoyed the hot tub (which was clean and seemed well-maintained) and the firepit (the property provides both firewood and metal skewers). The beds were very comfortable, and our kids enjoyed the games in the loft.Communication about check-in was very clear, and the expectations for checkout were not excessive.We would definitely come back!

Great location. Outside amenities were wonderful. Porches were great for relaxing. Inside was spacious and very clean. Plenty of space for 3 families.

Great for families

One of the nicest cabins. Wonderful for children. Upstairs loft has bunk beds and shuffleboard table. Very centrally located close to all activities. We will be coming back to this cabin.

Awesome cabin!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and well appointed cabin!! The house was beautifully furnished with rustic furniture. The beds were all very comfortable,as we were told how well everyone slept! The family had a blast challenging each other in games of shuffleboard and horseshoes and the younger adults relaxed in the hot tub. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cabin and would not hesitate to recommend it to others!

What a great time and great host!

Have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years. This one marks one of the best places we have ever stayed. Reasons for this include: - Great Host (communicated very well with us) - Home (it is a beautiful home that is great for families) - Location (located beside state parks and great family attractions This cabin is beautiful. It was clean and comfortable, and there was firewood and a gas grill available (and we used both!). You are surrounded by pine trees, which made it a lot of fun for the small kids to hang their hammocks. You are back away from the main road, but at the same time, everything you need is within 5-minutes. We had a blast, and even ended up adding an additional night to our stay. We would definitely rent from again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really look forward to visiting the area and renting from Lakewood Luxury Cabins. We actually stayed in the Treasured Times cabin 3 years in a row because the layout was perfect but had rough experiences the last 2 years we stayed. This year we actually rented Running Moon which Iwe had stayed in about 6 years ago and it was more than enough room for us. However, the dining table inside is extremely small so we opted to eating outside during meals. Also, the second bedroom that has a bathroom in it required some dusting especially on the wood of the bed, I was scared to reach behind the nightstand to plug in my phone charger because of the dust. For the most part we enjoyed the stay, just have some concerns about thorough cleanings. Ms. Brenda is always great to work with.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a few firsts for our family. 1. Traveling with another family. 2. Traveling to Broken Bow. The Runnin Moon Cabin was hands down such a great pick for two family’s with kids ranging from 5-8YO. The kids had a blast. They pretty much had all upstairs to themselves with bunk beds. Games. A table they could eat at to watch a movie and popcorn (we provided). Beds were comfortable. The place was CLEAN! Both downstairs bedrooms were equally the same in the showers and space. There was another bedroom ducked off to the side downstairs that was also great for the kids that didn’t want to sleep with the rest. We would definitely rent this particular cabin again if we were coming back with kids. Brenda was the property manager that was assisting us and was AMAZING with communication. Everyone wants to hear a negative so I can make one up, you have to bring your own foil, seasoning, ziplock bags, etc. which we did so it was no issue for us. Laundry detergent, trash bags, toilet paper, etc is provided by the property. Enjoy your stay!

It was home away from home!

Perfect family trip

We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our family over Easter weekend. Plenty of space for everyone to eat meals and great sitting space outside to take it all of the perfect weather. We would certainly stay here again.
