Very nice location and pretty hotel. Room was clean and had all the necessary facilities. Bed was a little hard though. Breakfast was included but a disappointment as the eggs weren’t cooked fresh and the sausage was not great. Staff were good despite being busy looking after a large group

Lovely original features, very grandeur and elegant. Lovely hotel. However, one major flaw for me, they did not have any Jack Daniels in the bar.

Beautiful location, a very well-maintained building with cherished history. Facilities renovated and in good modernized condition. Very good food. Very nice area around the property (you can spend time on an adjacent lawn or go for a long walk in a forest and field just on the other side of the road. Great long-weekend stay, highly recommended

We had a really lovely stay at this hotel, the food in the restaurant was amazing and the complimentary upgraded room was perfect. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and the hotel had a very relaxed vibe. Brockenhurst is very easily accessed on foot from the hotel and its a lovely little village to explore and stop for food/coffee after exploring the local walks opposite the hotel.

This is a country style hotel and the lobby and restaurants areas really feel like that. But the room was really modern and spacious. Really comfortable stay. Ideal for families as the kids had their own room section and the was even a living room area. There is a great walk right outside the hotel through grassland and forest and less than 10 min walk to the village centre. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great for a romantic break
A really lovely hotel and the deluxe suite is ideal for a couples getaway. Everything was up to the standard expected only a few smalll issues that the rooms coffee, tea. They were not stocked.for two people, but the receptionist was extremely helpful in bringing up what was needed. Also there was a lot of movement in the corridors at night. The cooked breakfast was delicious but minimal in its portions.. Aside such trivial things the staff and accommodations were perfectly charming

Great location in heart of the forest, you can watch the wildlife from your room and go for a lovely walk from the hotel. Great quality food, but our food took over an hour to arrive on a busy evening, it was worth the wait. Our room was comfortable and cosy with lovely views. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, especially at breakfast which was superb!

Quiet but accessible location, comfortable rooms
Lovely spacious comfortable room, very clean and beautifully quiet. Tea and coffee supplies locally sourced where possible as were a lot of items on the menu. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the hotel and really enjoyed everything. Bar well stocked with an excellent range. Attentive lovely staff, who know how to be in stealth mode and not interrupt while you’re in full swing of conversation. Alas the weather wasn’t so cheery but it’s a great spot for getting out and about for a walk, and we took a trip to Lymington which was approx 20 min stroll and less than 10 mins through the New Forest. Would recommend.

Lovely hotel. Room was nice and clean. Took a good 20 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel. Restaurant food was ok, nothing special. Not ideal to walk around in the evening as street lights were limited. Apparently it’s bang right in the middle of the national park. My friend found a member of staff bit patronising as not everyone is aware of this. If we knew we wouldn’t be enquiring. So it’s the ideal location for exploring. Would be nice if there was seating areas by reception, just so we could plant ourselves down for 5 mins rest. I had to take a business call and sat at a table just by reception and was told l couldn’t sit there, even though the restaurant was empty! Lovely chef we chatted to. At least someone was friendly.

Gorgeous hotel
Staff are all so friendly and helpful, gorgeous place to stay, spotlessly clean, food lovely, only one improvement could be made, bed was really uncomfortable and the pillows were hard and lumpy, but bedding fresh and clean.

Lovely place, restaurant on site lovely food, bar area nice. Not a huge choice on the menu and a few options were not available which is a shame. Would also be nice to have at least one USB plug socket in rooms.

Couple's break.
We had a lovely three night stay at Forest Park. The hotel is beautiful with lovely log fires. Our room (202) was immaculate. Would suggest though that a hook on the back of the bathroom door for a dressing gown would help. Also a fold up luggage rack maybe so that you dont't have to put your suitcase on the bed? And lastly a larger table by the lounge chairs that you could actually get a cup on! One night had a sandwich from room service but had to eat it sitting on the bed as there is nowhere to put a tray or plate. Overall the stay was five star with a lovely breakfast, super attentive staff and a very good dinner menu. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay here.
