"Unfortunately when we arrived at the property, the cleaners were still cleaning. We were meant to check in from 4:30pm, we arrived at 5:28 and the cleaners were only half way done. We had to wait about 3hours for them to finish. The cleaning was mediocre for a deep cleaning. But the stay was good for us as we made use of the local area and the house was nice it just wasn’t spotless for a deep clean. "Lovely little house, with everything you need for a home from home. Downsides- there is child lock on the Wi-fi, not good for a tradesman working away. Cold house- woke up every morning shivering. Wasn’t sure how to set heating timer. And next door there are elderly neighbours who must be deaf- they are night owls and I’m sure their tv is directly opposite the wall of bed stand. Was maybe 2am before all was quiet. Also nothing to do with house but there were scrambler bikes going up and down...

"We had an amazing 3 days/2 nights away at The Old Rectory which was perfectly facilitated by Sarah and her fantastic property. There was plenty of space to do whatever we wanted - swim in the pool, play table tennis in the games room, play boules and walk the dogs in the grounds, have nice dinners in the kitchen and dining room and play games in one of the three lounges. "Bad stay - the host did not send me check in details on the day of check in so I had to chase her up and she didn't even apologise for the hassle. One of the mattresses is so uncomfortable, you can Feel the springs. If you travel as 2 the host locks the bedroom doors for 1 room, is there any need? Overall, the place is okay but the hassle is not worth it "

"Checking in was easy and the staff at the reception was welcoming and friendly. I was only surprised we had to pay a refundable deposit of £50, I’m not sure I saw that during booking. The room was in excellent condition and our son had his own little corner which he really loved. Breakfast was ok and we ordered an omelette which was very tasty. I’d rate our stay 8 out 10. "

"An amazing stay. Reasonably priced. Great location for a Porsche Experience day. Restaurant location and sunset was lovely. Execution was good. The only downside is that I would have liked somewhere outside to sit as we had a single room apartment. My room smelt a bit of cheap fruity air freshener to disguise the smell of what must have been cigarette smoke. Everything else was perfect. "
