"Really nice campsite with mobile homes amongst pine and olive trees, right by the lake. We had a mobile home which was ok, had all the utensils in (apart from a kettle) but we lacked some decking area/picket fence to provide some privacy that other mobile homes had which felt a bit odd. Staff very good, especially the night watch who was very helpful. "

The walk to town was short but down a steep hill - other routes to town were available that were not as challenging. We fell in love with Gargnano - the people, the restaurants, the views, the gelato. Novella was quick to respond to any questions or requests we had and the check in process was very easy."

We did not see that in the VRBO site. This caused us a bit of trouble since we had to buy those items. We are not used to this in the US. "We just spent 4 nights at the Hotel Meandro and had a really lovely time. Beautiful view of the lake from our terrace, super clean room and very comfy king bed. Pool and sauna was very nice, breakfast had everything you could ask for including vitamins! Like a lot of Italian hotels it had only a little shabbiness but we would be very happy to stay there again. It’s just up from the public beach, they provide a beach bag and towels. Walkable to everywhere. And all the staff were SO nice. They all have kind eyes so says my husband. A memorable vacation in a beautiful place. "

SO glad to say the Sole Hotel team were on to it straight away, found solutions and fixed every concern in a charming, diligent and thorough way. 5 stars, you can be VERY confident in this hotel and its PROFESSIONAL staff. From cleaners to bar waiters to management. This is a classy team. As to location, its unbeatable. Lakeside, on the main square with breathtaking views. Free breakfast is excellent in choice and variety. Very Happy, book with confidence."

"The view from our balcony was stunning and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Superb breakfast, a variety to choose from but sadly no restaurant for dinner. The swimming area was nice but the water was very cold but not so the lake the water was lovely and warm. "
